加工颤振是影响工件表面质量、加剧刀具磨损和降低机床寿命的重要原因,颤振抑制一直以来都是学术界和工业界关注的重点。稳定性叶瓣图是现有颤振抑制方法的重要依据,而机床刀尖点频响函数是绘制稳定性叶瓣图的主要输入。锤击试验法是目前获取刀尖模态参数最为准确的方法,但是在机床结构变化频繁的应用场景下,该方法效率低,机床需要长时间停机,难以满足实际生产要求。提出了基于KNN的机床刀尖点频响函数预测方法,将锤击试验法和KNN算法相结合,大幅减小了锤击试验的次数,同时准确获得机床刀尖点频响函数。在试验验证中,将该方法和传统RCSA方法进行对比,结果表明所提方法具有良好的准确度。  相似文献

A deduced cutting force prediction model for circular end milling process is presented in this paper. Traditional researches on cutting force model usually focus on linear milling process which does not meet other cutting conditions, especially for circular milling process. This paper presents an improved cutting force model for circular end milling process based on the typical linear milling force model. The curvature effects of tool path on chip thickness as well as entry and exit angles are analyzed, and the cutting force model of linear milling process is then corrected to fit circular end milling processes. Instantaneous cutting forces during circular end milling process are predicted according to the proposed model. The deduced cutting force model can be used for both linear and circular end milling processes. Finally, circular end milling experiments with constant and variable radial depth were carried out to verify the availability of the proposed method. Experiment results show that measured results and simulated results corresponds well with each other.  相似文献

An accurate estimation of tool wear morphology can provide the opportunity to investigate the influence of tool wear on cutting performance as well as reduce the overall production cost. However, tool wear prediction is still a very challenging research issue. In this paper, a novel method for simulating the actual chip formation and wear evolution thorough the 3D finite element model has been carried out. In order to improve the accuracy of simulation results, the influence of worn tool, stress and temperature distribution on wear rate are considered. Then cutting experiment has been conducted by turning AISI1045 with uncoated carbide tools to validate the accuracy of the proposed model. The comparison between experimental and simulation results show good agreement which proves the ability of the proposed model in forecasting the tool wear. The validated finite element model has been further utilized studying how the worn tool affects the cutting performance including actual cutting rake, stress distribution, cutting force and temperature. The results of this paper not only provide a clear understanding of wear evolution between tool rake face and chip, but also are meaningful to optimize tool design and cutting parameters.  相似文献

In this paper, the instantaneous undeformed chip thickness is modeled to include the dynamic modulation caused by the tool vibration while the dynamic regenerative effects are taken into account. The numerical method is used to solve the differential equations goveming the dynamics of the milling system. Several chatter detection criteria are applied synthetically to the simulated signals and the stability diagram is obtained in time-domain. The simulation results in time-domain show a good agreement with the analytical prediction, which is validated by the cutting experiments. By simulating the chatter stability lobes in the time-domain and analyzing the influences of different spindle speeds on the vibration amplitudes of the tool under a Fixed chip-load condition, conclusions could be drawn as follows: In rough milling, higher machining efficiency can be achieved by selecting a spindle speed corresponding to the axial depth of cut in accordance with the simulated chatter stability lobes, and in Fmish milling, lower surface roughness can be achieved by selecting a spindle speed well beyond the resonant frequency of machining system.  相似文献

以耦合颤振为研究对象,通过理论分析和实验测量,研究了超声振动切削(UVC)方法对其影响及机理。超声振动切削可以通过控制系统能量摄入抑制耦合颤振。一方面,确定系统发生耦合颤振具有临界能量阀值,系统摄入能量为瞬时切削功率在净切削时间内的积分;建立的临界切削深度模型,表明超声振动切削可以增大临界切深,这表示系统具有更大的切削功率阀值,其原因是超声振动切削方法净切削时间减少,从而在一定切削时间内维持系统能量摄入总量不变,保证切削系统的稳定。另一方面,在相同条件下,超声振动切削可以有效降低平均切削力,减少系统摄入的能量,从而减弱耦合颤振的振动幅度,对其进行抑制。使用自行研制的弱刚度镗杆进行了对比实验,实验结果表明:超声振动切削可以增大临界切削深度且临界切深与占空比成反比;在相同条件下减小了系统振动幅度,获得了更好的加工质量。  相似文献

刀具磨损的精确预测对保证零件加工质量、提高生产效率和降低制造成本具有重要作用。在实际加工过程中,切削参数、刀具几何参数、刀具材料等工况复杂多变,工况信息和刀具磨损量对监测信号的耦合作用为刀具磨损的精确预测带来了很大挑战。针对以上问题,提出了一种基于域对抗门控网络(DAGNN)的变工况刀具磨损精确预测方法。引入工况分类网络并利用无磨损量标签样本,通过域对抗和门控过滤机制自适应地从不同工况的原始监测信号中提取表征刀具磨损且对工况变化不敏感的关键信号特征。对信号特征提取网络和刀具磨损预测网络进行迭代优化,从而实现变工况刀具磨损的精确预测。实验结果表明:相比已有的方法,本文方法能够利用少量带磨损量标签的目标工况样本实现刀具材料和刀具直径变化情况下的刀具磨损量精确预测,预测精度大幅提高。  相似文献

Titanium alloys are widely used in the aviation and aerospace industries due to their unique mechanical and physical properties. Specifically, thin-walled titanium (Ti) cylinders have received increasing attention for their applications as rocket engine casings, aircraft landing gear, and aero-engine hollow shaft due to their observed improvement in the thrust-to-weight ratio. However, the conventional cutting (CC) process is not appropriate for thin-walled Ti cylinders due to its low thermal conductivity, high strength, and low stiffness. Instead, high-speed ultrasonic vibration cutting (HUVC) assisted processing has recently proved highly effective for Ti-alloy machining. In this study, HUVC technology is employed to perform external turning of a thin-walled Ti cylinder, which represents a new application of HUVC. First, the kinematics, tool path, and dynamic cutting thickness of HUVC are evaluated. Second, the phenomenon of mode-coupling chatter is analyzed to determine the effects and mechanism of HUVC by establishing a critical cutting thickness model. HUVC can increase the critical cutting thickness and effectively reduce the average cutting force, thus reducing the energy intake of the system. Finally, comparison experiments are conducted between HUVC and CC processes. The results indicate that the diameter error rate is 10% or less for HUVC and 51% for the CC method due to a 40% reduction in the cutting force. In addition, higher machining precision and better surface roughness are achieved during thin-walled Ti cylinder manufacturing using HUVC.  相似文献

近些年来,航空制造业的巨大进步推动了高温合金,特别是镍基高温合金的高速发展。高温合金材料的难加工问题是目前制造业的难点,其在切削过程中存在切削力大、切削温度高等现象,直接影响到工件加工表面质量和刀具使用寿命等,因此对切削力进行测量和分析是研究高温合金切削加工的有效途径。探究PCBN刀具切削高温合金切削力变化规律,首先阐述高温合金的材料特性及加工特点;其次设计并进行单因素和正交试验,探讨负倒棱对切削力的作用和影响规律,建立切削高温合金切削力预测模型;最后实现预测模型的优化,并与试验数据对比验证,为高温合金工艺参数优化起到参考和借鉴作用。  相似文献

An analytical model for chatter stability prediction in bull-nose end milling of aero-engine casings is presented in this paper. And the mechanics and dynamics variations due to the complex cutter and workpiece geometry are considered by analyzing the effects of the lead angle on the milling process. Firstly, the tool-workpiece engagement region is obtained by using a previously developed method and divided into several disk elements along the tool-axis direction.Secondly, a 3D dynamic model for stability limit calculation is developed and simplified into a 1D model in normal direction considering only the dominant mode of the workpiece. Then the cutting force coefficients, the start and exit angles corresponding to each disk element are determined. And the total stability lobe diagram is calculated using an iterative algorithm. Finally, several experimental tests are carried out to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed prediction approach.  相似文献

镜像铣技术是近年来提出的一种针对大尺寸薄壁件的加工方法,其加工环保、高效,具有逐步取代传统化铣加工的趋势。针对飞机蒙皮镜像铣加工过程中的颤振问题,首先,根据镜像铣加工特点,建立工艺系统颤振稳定性极限的预测模型;其次,通过有限元方法对蒙皮工件进行模态分析,分析蒙皮不同加工位置动力学特性变化导致的铣削稳定性变化,并通过实验测量获取工件动力学参数,对不同加工位置的稳定性做出预测;最后,开展加工实验,基于非接触测量方法,在线监测镜像铣加工区域的振动位移,通过时、频域信号对加工状态进行辨识,揭示了镜像铣加工过程的稳定性变化及失稳机制,验证了所提方法的准确性,在工程领域具有较高的实用价值。  相似文献

Dramatic tool temperature variation in end milling can cause excessive tool wear and shorten its life, especially in machining of difficult-to-machine materials. In this study, a new analyt-ical model-based method for the prediction of cutting tool temperature in end milling is presented. The cutting cycle is divided into temperature increase and decrease phases. For the temperature increase phase, a temperature prediction model considering real friction state between the chip and tool is proposed, and the heat flux and tool-chip contact length are then obtained through finite element simulation. In the temperature decrease phase, a temperature decrease model based on the one-dimension plate heat convection is proposed. A single wire thermocouple is employed to mea-sure the tool temperature in the conducted milling experiments. Both of the theoretical and experi-mental results are obtained with cutting conditions of the cutting speed ranging from 60 m/min to 100 m/min, feed per tooth from 0.12 mm/z to 0.20 mm/z, and the radial and axial depth of cut respec-tively being 4 mm and 0.5 mm. The comparison results show high agreement between the physical cutting experiments and the proposed cutting tool temperature prediction method.  相似文献

在薄壁零件加工过程中,工件材料的连续切除会造成工艺系统动力学特性的不断变化,并对工艺系统的颤振稳定性产生显著影响。以航空发动机机匣为对象,研究了其铣削过程中工件材料切除以及切削位置变化对工件动力学特性与颤振稳定性的影响规律。首先,根据机匣的几何结构与铣削工艺特点,提出了按切削行及切削段进行材料切除过程细分的方法。其次,建立了工艺系统动力学特性演化的快速计算方法和颤振稳定性极限的频域预测方法,并在单个切削行内和不同切削行间分析了材料切除过程对工艺系统的影响。结果显示,在单个切削行内工艺系统的动力学特性会小幅度减小,稳定性极限图会向左下方小幅度偏移;在不同切削行间工艺系统的动力学特性变化幅度较大,稳定性极限图呈现出交错排列现象,难以针对整个铣削过程进行切削参数优选,因此提出了基于单行刀位轨迹的切削参数优选方法,保证了整个材料切除过程的稳定切削。最后,进行了机匣铣削与模态试验,验证了所提方法的正确性与有效性。  相似文献
