一种新的基于机动检测的机动目标跟踪算法   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
针对Kalman滤波跟踪机动目标发散和目前多数自适应Kalman滤波算法对运动模型适应性不强的问题,提出了一种新的基于机动检测的机动目标跟踪算法,通过实时自适应的改变滤波模型提高对机动目标跟踪精度。对这种方法与Kalman滤波算法进行了计算机仿真比较,结果表明,该方法计算量小,可实时精确地自适应匹配目标的运动模型,可实现对机动目标稳定可靠的跟踪。  相似文献

The quickest detection of superimposed hidden Markov model (HMM) transient signals is addressed. It is assumed that a known HMM is always extant but at an unknown time a second known HMM may also be present, and overlapped with the previous. Two approaches are proposed. The first treats the superimposed HMMs as a unit with an expanded state space, thus converting the problem of detecting superimposed HMMs into detection of a change in HMM, this being readily solved using a previously proposed procedure. Such an approach, though excellent in terms of performance, is not suitable for the superposition of multiple HMMs with large state dimensions due to computational complexity. A second detection scheme (based on multiple target tracking ideas) with much lower computational needs but little loss in terms of performance, is therefore developed  相似文献

The application of the interacting multiple model (IMM) estimation approach to the problem of target tracking when the measurements are perturbed by glint noise is considered. The IMM is a very effective approach when the system has discrete uncertainties in the dynamic or measurement model as well as continuous uncertainties. It is shown that this method performs better than the “score function” method. It is also shown that the IMM method performs robustly when the exact prior information of the glint noise is not available  相似文献

A novel target detection approach based on adaptive radar waveform design   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:0  
To resolve problems of complicated clutter, fast-varying scenes, and low signal-clutterratio (SCR) in application of target detection on sea for space-based radar (SBR), a target detection approach based on adaptive waveform design is proposed in this paper. Firstly, complicated sea clutter is modeled as compound Gaussian process, and a target is modeled as some scatterers with Gaussian reflectivity. Secondly, every dwell duration of radar is divided into several sub-dwells. Regular linear frequency modulated pulses are transmitted at Sub-dwell 1, and the received signal at this sub-dwell is used to estimate clutter covariance matrices and pre-detection. Estimated matrices are updated at every following sub-dwell by multiple particle filtering to cope with fast-varying clutter scenes of SBR. Furthermore, waveform of every following sub-dwell is designed adaptively according to mean square optimization technique. Finally, principal component analysis and generalized likelihood ratio test is used for mitigation of colored interference and property of constant false alarm rate, respectively. Simulation results show that, considering configuration of SBR and condition of complicated clutter, 9 dB is reduced for SCR which reliable detection requires by this target detection approach. Therefore, the work in this paper can markedly improve radar detection performance for weak targets.  相似文献

This paper presents the basic design and evaluation of a prediction-based controller for real-time object tracking. After a system overview, the trajectory identification and prediction module is studied, presenting a prediction system for non-linear trajectories. The prediction system is based on a set of parallel linear predictors, each of which represents a hypothesis about the target trajectory. The performance of the system is compared to a traditional linear prediction model, showing an improvement of one order of magnitude in the prediction error  相似文献

An improved algorithm for tracking multiple maneuvering targets is presented. This approach is implemented with an approximate adaptive filter consisting of the one-step conditional maximum-likelihood technique together with the extended Kalman filter and an adaptive maneuvering compensator. In order to avoid the extra computational burden of considering events with negligible probability, a validation matrix is defined in the tracking structure. With this approach, data-association and target maneuvering problems can be solved simultaneously. Detailed Monte Carlo simulations of the algorithm for many tracking situations are described. Computer simulation results indicate that this approach successfully tracks multiple maneuvering targets over a wide range of conditions  相似文献

In target tracking, the measurement noise is usually assumed to be Gaussian. However, the Gaussian modeling of the noise may not be true. Noise can be non-Gaussian. The non-Gaussian noise arising in a radar system is known as glint noise. The distribution of glint noise is long tailed and will seriously affect the tracking performance. We develop a new algorithm that can effectively track a maneuvering target in the glint environment The algorithm incorporates the nonlinear Masreliez filter into the interactive multiple model (IMM) method. For current GMTI trackers, one of the most common contextual information used is road network information. In this paper, we present our approach using the road network information in tracking ground targets and in solving some ambiguities that can arise at road intersections or following a target manoeuvre leaving the road. The fading factor exerts a significant role in the strong tracking idea. However, traditional fading factor introduction method hinders the accuracy and robustness advantages of current strong-tracking-based nonlinear filtering algorithms such as Cubature Kalman Filter (CKF) since traditional fading factor introduction method only considers the first-order Taylor expansion. To this end, a new fading factor idea is suggested and introduced into the strong tracking CKF method. The new fading factor introduction method expanded the number of fading factors from one to two with reselected introduction positions. The relationship between the two fading factors as well as the general calculation method can be derived based on Taylor expansion. Obvious superiority of the newly suggested fading factor introduction method is demonstrated according to different nonlinearity of the measurement function. Equivalent calculation method can also be established while applied to CKF. Theoretical analysis shows that the strong tracking CKF can extract the third-order term information from the residual and thus realize second-order accuracy. After optimizing the strong tracking algorithm process, a Fast Strong Tracking CKF (FSTCKF) is finally established. Two simulation examples show that the novel FSTCKF improves the robustness of traditional CKF while minimizing the algorithm time complexity under various conditions.  相似文献

An approach to high-resolution multiple-target-angle tracking that uses the output of an array of sensors is presented. The results of direction-of-arrival estimation by eigenstructure analysis are extended to derive a recursive procedure for tracking moving sources. This procedure involves recursive eigenvalue decomposition and a zero-tracking algorithm, using the coefficient derived from the minimum-norm criterion. The algorithm has superresolution capability in that a pair of closely spaced target angles can be resolved and tracked even though the angular separation between them is less than the reciprocal of the aperture size. A multilayer feedforward neural network is applied to pulse compression. The 13-element Barker code and the maximum-length sequences (m-sequences) with lengths 15, 31, and 63 b were used as the signal codes, and four networks were implemented, respectively. In each of these networks, the number of input units was the same as the signal length while the number of hidden units was three and the number of output units was one. In training each of these networks, backpropagation learning was used and the number of training epochs was 500. Using this approach, a more than 40 dB output peak signal-to-sidelobe ratio can be achieved. These fault-tolerant neural networks can provide a robust means for pulse radar detection  相似文献

We consider the problem of detecting mines and minelike targets imaged by multispectral sensors. We propose an algorithm, based on mathematical morphology (MM), that yields accurate detection results in moderately cluttered environments. For targets in heavily cluttered environments, a preprocessing step is employed, based on the maximum noise fraction (MNF) transform, in order to reduce the effect of clutter and enhance the presence of targets. A conceptual generalization of the Wald's sequential probability ratio test (SPRT) to a decentralized environment is presented. The local tests are chosen to be SPRT's, which quantize the temporally independent identically distributed (IID) observations into three levels for transmission to the fusion detector. Spatial independence among the local observations is assumed. The fusion test is also an SPRT. An analysis for the decentralized scheme is developed. A methodology for instrument fault detection and identification (FDI) in linear dynamical systems subject to plant parameter variations or uncertainties is presented. At the heart of this approach is a robust estimator for which the necessary and sufficient conditions to its existence are outlined. The robust estimator can simultaneously estimate the unmeasurable state variables of the system for the purpose of control and provide necessary information for FDI purposes. A novel feature of this approach is that it can actually identify the shape and magnitude of the failures. The scheme allows for fast and accurate FDI, and can account for structural uncertainties and variations in the parameters of the dynamical model of the system. The overall fault tolerant control system strategy proposed is verified through simulation studies performed on the control of a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft in the vertical plane  相似文献
