A strapdown system is considered as an unaided inertial navigator aboard an aircraft. Presented here are simulation results detailing the propagation of navigation errors (in nautical miles) due to strapdown sensor errors for four trajectories. They indicate the type of performance that can be expected from a strapdown system utilizing good ?off the shelf? gyros and accelerometers, and dramatically illustrate the improvements necessary in these components to obtain navigation performance comparable to that available from a good gimballed inertial system. The total navigation error for each trajectory is broken down to show the contribution from each of the various error sources. This breakdown quickly reveals which are the critical error sources for a given trajectory class, and also points up the relationship that exists between each individual error source, aircraft maneuvers, and the resulting navigation error. Several of the error mechanisms are discussed at length and a set of linearized differential equations which can be used to analyze error propagations is presented. These results should be of particular interest to the system designer who is faced with the problem of specifying the sensor error parameters necessary to meet mission performance requirements. With an analysis similar to the one presented here, but structured around his own expected mission trajectories, the designer should be able to confidently predict system accuracies and intelligently perform tradeoffs on the critical system parameters.  相似文献

A new method is illustrated for processing the output of a set of triad orthogonal rate gyros and accelerometers to reconstruct vehicle navigation parameters (attitude, velocity, and position). The paper introduces two vectors with dimensions 4 × 1 as velocity and position quaternions. The navigation equations for strapdown systems are nonlinear but after using these parameters, the navigation equations are converted into a pseudo-linear system. The new set of navigation equations has an analytical solution and the state transition matrix is used to solve the linear time-varying differential equations through time series. The navigation parameters are updated using the new formulation for strapdown navigation equations. Finally, the quaternions of velocity and position are converted into the original position and velocity vectors. The combination of the coning motion and a translational oscillatory trajectory is used to evaluate the accuracy of the proposed algorithm. The simulations show significant improvement in the accuracy of the inertial navigation system, which is achieved through the mentioned algorithm.  相似文献

A back-to-back connection of two gyros per axis is suggested that eliminates some of the errors due to cross coupling between the components of vehicle angular rates and accelerations. In particular, the error due to output axis angular acceleration, the anisoinertia error, and the spin reference axis rectification error theoretically vanish. Use of redundant and identical strapdown systems for the purpose of obtaining higher reliability makes this connection practical.  相似文献

This research describes a technique and a performance analysis of a fiber-optic strapdown inertial system with sensing cluster continuous rotation around the vertical body axis of the vehicle. The bias errors of these inertial sensors, gyros and accelerometers with cluster rotation, will have periodically varying corresponding components along the body axes. The modulated sensor errors produce reduced system errors. Simulation results indicate that, compared with the conventional method, the proposed approach attenuates the navigation errors and alignment errors due to the gyros' error and the accelerometers' error.  相似文献

 针对低成本捷联惯导系统(SINS)中陀螺动态误差的不对称性在角振动条件下造成姿态漂移的问题,设计了多层前向神经网络的补偿模型。在标定模型参数时,为降低对外部参考信号测量精度的要求,提出用姿态解算的最终误差作为网络优化目标的训练方法。由于最终的姿态误差不是网络的期望输出,无法采用有导师的训练方法,为此采用了微粒群优化算法。仿真实验结果表明:补偿后的陀螺动态误差的不对称度减小了一个数量级。  相似文献

本文研究了一种采用低精度的惯性器件,应用卡尔曼滤波技术的多普勒捷联惯性组合导航系统。讨论了组合方案,推导了系统的动态方程,设计了一种最优和四种次优卡尔曼滤波器。对系统进行了协方差分析。分析结果表明,采用随机漂移为0.1°/h的陀螺仪,零位误差为10-4g的加速度计,应用卡尔曼滤波技术可以实现1nmile/h的导航精度,成为一种低成本、中等精度的导航系统。  相似文献

The fundamental problem of inertial navigation, double integration of acceleration to obtain position, is defined and discussed. Mechanizations of both space-stable and local-vertical platform systems are exhibited. The synthesis problem for an electrically suspended gyro (ESG) strapdown system is defined and discussed: readout, readout errors due to vehicle motion, synchronization of readout with system computer, alignment, correction and calibration for mass unbalance drift, and digital mechanization. Alignment, calibration, and acceleration measurement are also discussed. Sources of error involved in the electronic gimbaling including those peculiar to strapdown configuration are discussed and compared to mechanically gimbaled systems. Advanced developments required in the component and systems areas are listed, and it is shown that such development will lead to reduced complexity, higher accuracy, and increased reliability and utility for inertial systems.  相似文献

This paper presents a quantitative discussion of two error sources which affect the accuracy of data comparison between instrument outputs and reference angle computations during multi-axis evaluation of strapdown gyros. The error due to misalignment of gyro input axes is formulated in terms of closed-form solutions for typical relationships between the three table gimbal rotation histories. If the angular positions of the table gimbal axes are measured by shaft encoders, then any measurement has an uncertainty in the range from plus to minus one-half of the quantization level. It is shown that the effect of encoder quantization error on the computer transformed angles in the bodyfixed coordinate system can be divided into two parts: the initial uncertainty of the zero positions of the gimbals before table motion is begun, and all subsequent error contributions during table test. Typical data for gyro misalignment and encoder quantization error effects are presented.  相似文献

Accurate data are necessary for the identification of aerodynamic parameters at high angle of attack and in spinning flight. Modern sensors and microelectronic devices are employed in a stall/spin data acquisition system that will be tested in a Schweizer 2-32 sailplane. This instrumentation package will use a quaternion-based ?strapdown IMU? algorithm to derive vehicle attitude from angular rate data, and it will use fault-detection logic to identify inflight sensor failures. Details of the system and flight test program are presented, together with results of preflight digital simulation analysis.  相似文献

Attitude and Oribit Estimation Using Stars and Landmarks   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
An extended Kalman filter is used to process line-of-sight measurements to stars and known landmarks providing a statistical indication of performance in estimating spacecraft attitude, orbital ephemeris, and the bias drift of a set of three strapdown gyros. The landmark measurements were assumed to have been taken from the imagery of an Earth-observing multispectral scanner. It is shown that filtering of these noisy measurements results in highly accurate estimates of the above parameters. Results are given showing the sensitivity of performance to various system parameters such as star tracker accuracy, errors in the knowledge of landmark position, and number of stars and landmarks processed.  相似文献

弹道导弹捷联星光/惯性制导是在惯性制导基础上辅以星光修正的一种复合制导方法,能够显著提高导弹制导精度。由于星敏感器捷联安装在弹体上,安装误差会影响恒星测量的精度,进而影响复合制导精度,为此提出一种在线辨识并修正星敏感器安装误差的复合制导方法。建立了星敏感器观测量与数学平台失准角、星敏感器安装误差的关系方程,在导弹主动段关机后测量3颗独立的恒星获得6个观测量,利用最小二乘法估计出失准角和星敏感器安装、误差。改进了星光/惯性复合制导的最佳修正系数确定方程,直接修正了星敏感器安装误差的影响。数值仿真结果表明:所提方法可以有效地估计平台失准角和星敏感器安装误差,提高了捷联星光/惯性复合制导的精度。  相似文献

Multiplicative Extended Kalman Filter (MEKF) is one of the most widely used satellite attitude estimation methods. However, the linearization error?s influence is an inherent limitation of this method. In this paper, we aim to analyze this linearization error in the typical satellite attitude determination system with star sensors and gyros. The formulation of linearization error is first derived and the curvature metric is then employed to measure the linearization error. Additionally, we show the reason why linearization error has influence on the performance of MEKF. Based on these analyses, we point out that star sensors? sampling frequency, initial estimated error and accuracy of gyro?s measurement model are the factors that could enlarge the system model?s linearization error. They all affect the linearization error and attitude determination accuracy by decreasing the predicted accuracy. More concretely, the influence of star sensor?s sampling frequency is large, while initial estimated error and gyro?s measurement error within a certain range have little influence on MEKF. Finally, combined with plenty of experiments, validity of the above analyses is verified.  相似文献

针对空间平台在高轨道机动变轨过程中自主导航的需求,采用了基于Kalman滤波器的捷联惯导与星敏感器的组合导航方案。结合Kalman滤波中协方差更新的误差分配分析方法,分析了影响空间平台状态估计误差的主要因素。采用适用于高轨道的球谐重力模型,运用STK工具包设计了变轨机动轨迹,将该轨迹应用于组合导航方案的仿真验证。仿真结果表明,量测噪声是影响空间平台姿态精度的主要因素,加速度计零偏对变轨过程速度精度有决定性影响,改善两者的精度可以实现空间平台机动变轨的高精度自主导航。  相似文献

The design of inexpensive multi-sensor attitude determination systems is discussed. The systems discussed fuse information from a triad of solid state rate gyros with an aiding system mechanized using GPS or magnetometers and accelerometers. Euler angle and quaternion-based sensor fusion algorithms are developed. Methods for gain scheduling and estimator pole placement are presented. Using simulation and flight test results, it is shown that quaternion-based algorithms simplify gain scheduling and improve transient response.  相似文献

Terrestrial inertial navigation is typically performed using an instrumented platform stabilized in a ?local-level? configuration for convenient generation of geographic navigation information. The local-level geographic reference must be maintained by torquing the system gyros, a requirement which may be incompatible with high-precision inertial sensors currently under development. Gyro torquing in a gimballed navigation system can be avoided by employing a ?space-stable? mechanization of the platform where an inertial, rather than geographic, reference is used for navigation calculations. The software design problems associated with this concept, especially those related to the application of Kalman filtering, are the principle focus of this paper. Although the space-stable configuration has been used extensively for spacecraft navigation and guidance, it has not been widely applied to terrestrial navigation, either for air or marine applications. The chief problem in this application is to perform navigation in local-level coordinates, using system outputs generated in an inertial reference frame. It can be demonstrated that, although the navigation system error dynamics are identical for the local-level and space-stable configurations, the dynamics of the sensor errors which drive these systems are quite different. These differences in sensor error propagation characteristics impose new requirements for the design of procedures to accomplish system calibration, alignment, and reset. This paper outlines a Kalman filtering approach which is applicable to all of the above procedures, and presents numerical results to demonstrate its effectiveness.  相似文献
