The probability hypothesis density (PHD) filter has been recognized as a promising tech-nique for tracking an unknown number of targets. The performance of the PHD filter, however, is sensitive to the available knowledge on model parameters such as the measurement noise variance and those associated with the changes in the maneuvering target trajectories. If these parameters are unknown in advance, the tracking performance may degrade greatly. To address this aspect, this paper proposes to incorporate the adaptive parameter estimation (APE) method in the PHD filter so that the model parameters, which may be static and/or time-varying, can be estimated jointly with target states. The resulting APE-PHD algorithm is implemented using the particle filter (PF), which leads to the PF-APE-PHD filter. Simulations show that the newly proposed algorithm can correctly identify the unknown measurement noise variances, and it is capable of tracking mul-tiple maneuvering targets with abrupt changing parameters in a more robust manner, compared to the multi-model approaches.  相似文献

An improved algorithm for tracking multiple maneuvering targets is presented. This approach is implemented with an approximate adaptive filter consisting of the one-step conditional maximum-likelihood technique together with the extended Kalman filter and an adaptive maneuvering compensator. In order to avoid the extra computational burden of considering events with negligible probability, a validation matrix is defined in the tracking structure. With this approach, data-association and target maneuvering problems can be solved simultaneously. Detailed Monte Carlo simulations of the algorithm for many tracking situations are described. A continuously adaptive two-dimensional Kalman tracking filter for a low data rate track-while-scan (TWS) operation is introduced which enhances the tracking of maneuvering targets. The track residuals in each coordinate, which are a measure of track quality, are sensed, normalized to unity variance, and then filtered in a single-pole filter. The magnitude Z of the output of this single-pole filter, when it exceeds a threshold Z1 is used to vary the maneuver noise spectral density q in the Kalman filter model in a continuous manner. This has the effect of increasing the tracking filter gains and containing the bias developed by the tracker due to the maneuvering target. The probability of maintaining track, with reasonably sized target gates, is thus increased, The operational characteristic of q versus Z assures that the tracker gains do not change unless there is high confidence that a maneuver is in progress.  相似文献

针对目标机动运行过程中,滤波模型与机动状态模型失配的问题,提出了一种新的增广状态误差滤波模型。不同于现有增广方案,该模型从模型失配所致状态滤波误差的角度出发,将状态估计误差增广为一状态量,通过滤波估计后用其校正原状态量。算法分析表明,该增广滤波模型具有自适应调节多重渐消因子的等效特性,增强了对目标的跟踪能力。基于该增广状态误差滤波模型,给出了滤波算法设计并进行了仿真实验。实验结果表明,基于该模型的滤波算法在对机动目标进行跟踪时具有更强的鲁棒性。  相似文献

An adaptive tracking filter for maneuvering targets is proposed using modified input estimation technique. Pseudoresiduals are defined using measurements and the velocity estimate at the hypothesized maneuver onset time. With the pseudoresiduals and a new target model representing transitions of nominal accelerations, a new input estimation method for tracking a maneuvering target is derived. Since the proposed detection technique is more sensitive to maneuvers than previous work, the shorter window length can be employed to detect and compensate target maneuvers. Also shown is that the tracking performance of the proposed filter is similar to that of interacting multiple model method (IMM) with 3 models, while computational loads of our method are drastically reduced  相似文献

A Gaussian Mixture PHD Filter for Jump Markov System Models   总被引:11,自引:0,他引:11  
The probability hypothesis density (PHD) filter is an attractive approach to tracking an unknown and time-varying number of targets in the presence of data association uncertainty, clutter, noise, and detection uncertainty. The PHD filter admits a closed-form solution for a linear Gaussian multi-target model. However, this model is not general enough to accommodate maneuvering targets that switch between several models. In this paper, we generalize the notion of linear jump Markov systems to the multiple target case to accommodate births, deaths, and switching dynamics. We then derive a closed-form solution to the PHD recursion for the proposed linear Gaussian jump Markov multi-target model. Based on this an efficient method for tracking multiple maneuvering targets that switch between a set of linear Gaussian models is developed. An analytic implementation of the PHD filter using statistical linear regression technique is also proposed for targets that switch between a set of nonlinear models. We demonstrate through simulations that the proposed PHD filters are effective in tracking multiple maneuvering targets.  相似文献

基于序列蒙特卡罗方法的经典多模概率假设密度滤波方法及其各种衍生方法,在预测过程中依据多个并行的状态转移模型,通过将大量粒子散布到下一时刻目标所有可能出现的状态空间实现目标状态的捕获,造成计算量大、目标跟踪精度差。为此,提出一种改进的多模粒子概率假设密度机动目标跟踪方法。该方法利用最新量测信息估计目标运动模型概率及模型参数,并将估计得到的目标模型应用到粒子概率假设密度滤波方法的预测过程中生成预测粒子,从而将大部分粒子聚合在目标最可能出现的状态空间邻域中,实现粒子的有效利用。数值仿真表明,所提方法不仅显著地减少了目标丢失个数,而且提高了目标跟踪精度。  相似文献

为了解决大场景下基于三维到达角的目标跟踪问题,提出了一种具有无偏性的伪线性卡尔曼滤波。首先,基于三维到达角信息对目标运动模型与量测模型进行建模;之后,对量测模型进行了伪线性化处理,得到了线性形式的目标量测模型。为了解决伪线性卡尔曼滤波存在的有偏性问题,提出了一种结合EKF(extend Kalman filter)的三维伪线性无偏卡尔曼滤波。仿真实验表明,该模型能够对非机动目标与机动目标有效跟踪,对于百公里级别的目标,当角测量误差从0.1°变化到0.5°,算法在仿真时间结束时均能将绝对位置误差降低至10 km以内,且算法的运行速度与EKF为同一个量级,同时兼顾了抗干扰能力、定位跟踪精度、运行效率的要求,能够为大场景下的目标跟踪提供有效方法。  相似文献

Linear Kalman filters, using fewer states than required to completely specify target maneuvers, are commonly used to track maneuvering targets. Such reduced state Kalman filters have also been used as component filters of interacting multiple model (IMM) estimators. These reduced state Kalman filters rely on white plant noise to compensate for not knowing the maneuver - they are not necessarily optimal reduced state estimators nor are they necessarily consistent. To be consistent, the state estimation and innovation covariances must include the actual errors during a maneuver. Blair and Bar-Shalom have shown an example where a linear Kalman filter used as an inconsistent reduced state estimator paradoxically yields worse errors with multisensor tracking than with single sensor tracking. We provide examples showing multiple facets of Kalman filter and IMM inconsistency when tracking maneuvering targets with single and multiple sensors. An optimal reduced state estimator derived in previous work resolves the consistency issues of linear Kalman filters and IMM estimators.  相似文献

 修正概率数据关联滤波(MPDAF)是目前解决密集多回波环境下机动多目标跟踪较为有效的方法,但当回波密度增高时,该方法容易失跟。本文针对此特点,在MPDAF基础上,提出了残差滤波(RF)方法,分别从理论和Monte carlo仿真两方面揭示了RF与数据关联的内在机理,结果表明该方法能大幅度提高跟踪滤波器捕捉目标和剔除关联域内多余回波的能力以及跟踪的性能,是一种解决高密集多回波环境下机动多目标跟踪的有效方法。  相似文献

Tracking multiple targets with uncertain target dynamics is a difficult problem, especially with nonlinear state and/or measurement equations. With multiple targets, representing the full posterior distribution over target states is not practical. The problem becomes even more complicated when the number of targets varies, in which case the dimensionality of the state space itself becomes a discrete random variable. The probability hypothesis density (PHD) filter, which propagates only the first-order statistical moment (the PHD) of the full target posterior, has been shown to be a computationally efficient solution to multitarget tracking problems with a varying number of targets. The integral of PHD in any region of the state space gives the expected number of targets in that region. With maneuvering targets, detecting and tracking the changes in the target motion model also become important. The target dynamic model uncertainty can be resolved by assuming multiple models for possible motion modes and then combining the mode-dependent estimates in a manner similar to the one used in the interacting multiple model (IMM) estimator. This paper propose a multiple-model implementation of the PHD filter, which approximates the PHD by a set of weighted random samples propagated over time using sequential Monte Carlo (SMC) methods. The resulting filter can handle nonlinear, non-Gaussian dynamics with uncertain model parameters in multisensor-multitarget tracking scenarios. Simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed filter over single-model PHD filters.  相似文献

在多目标跟踪中,当目标数很大时,目标状态的联合分布的计算量会非常大。如果目标独立运动,可用各目标分别滤波来代替,但这要求考虑数据互联问题。文章介绍一种可以解决计算量问题的方法,只需计算联合分布的一阶矩——概率假设密度(PHD),PHD在任意区域S上的积分是S内目标数的期望值。因未记录目标身份,避免了数据互联问题。仿真中,传感器为被动雷达,目标观测值为距离、角度及速度时,对上述的PHD滤波进行了粒子实现,并对观测值是否相关的不同情况进行比较。PHD粒子滤波应用在非线性模型的多目标跟踪,实验结果表明,滤波可以稳健跟踪目标数为变数的情况,得到了接近真实情况的结果。  相似文献

 本文研究密集多回波环境下的机动多目标跟踪起始问题。文中首先提出主跟踪子空间和边缘跟踪子空间的定义与性质,接着修正Bayes轨迹确定方法BTC,并将其与具有残差滤波的修正概率数据关联滤波算法MPDAF-RF有机地结合起来,提出一种适合高密集多回波环境的机动多目环跟踪起始方法——“全邻”Bayes跟踪起始算法ABTI。Monte Carlo仿真表明,本文所给出的算法不仅克服了一类概率数据关联滤波方法没有跟踪起始机理的缺陷,而且辨别目标与虚警的能力很强,不失为解决高密集多回波环境下机动多目标跟踪起始的有效方法。  相似文献

针对Kalman滤波跟踪机动目标发散和目前多数自适应Kalman滤波算法对运动模型适应性不强的问题,提出了一种新的基于机动检测的机动目标跟踪算法,通过实时自适应的改变滤波模型提高对机动目标跟踪精度。对这种方法与Kalman滤波算法进行了计算机仿真比较,结果表明,该方法计算量小,可实时精确地自适应匹配目标的运动模型,可实现对机动目标稳定可靠的跟踪。  相似文献

本文提出机动目标“当前”统计模型的概念并建议用修正的瑞利-马尔科夫过程描述目标随机加速机动的统计特性。文中指出了在机动目标运动模型中状态(机动加速度)估值与状态噪声之间的内在联系。在此基础上提出了具有机动加速度均值及方差自适应的卡尔曼滤波算法。对一维和三维的情形进行了计算机模拟。计算结果表明,在仅对目标位置进行观测的情况下,这类自适应估值算法无论对高度机动或无机动的目标均可绘出较好的位置、速度及加速度估值。  相似文献

The Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) estimator is a suboptimal hybrid filter that has been shown to be one of the most cost-effective hybrid state estimation schemes. The main feature of this algorithm is its ability to estimate the state of a dynamic system with several behavior modes which can “switch” from one to another. In particular, the IMM estimator can be a self-adjusting variable-bandwidth filter, which makes it natural for tracking maneuvering targets. The importance of this approach is that it is the best compromise available currently-between complexity and performance: its computational requirements are nearly linear in the size of the problem (number of models) while its performance is almost the same as that of an algorithm with quadratic complexity. The objective of this work is to survey and put in perspective the existing IMM methods for target tracking problems. A Nonlinear Tracker Using Attitude Measurements   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The subject of this paper involves tracking the present position of a maneuvering aircraft as well as predicting its future position. A tracking filter is developed that uses aircraft attitude angles (yaw, pitch, roll) in addition to the usual radar measurements. Computer simulation of tracker performance when tracking violently maneuvering aircraft indicates that a dramatic improvement is obtained by using attitude information. The approach taken is to develop a 12-or 15-state extended Kalman filter that models both translational and rotational degrees of freedom. By measuring and estimating attitude it is possible to approximately determine the magnitude and direction of the force system acting on the vehicle and therefore determine vehicle linear acceleration. Knowledge of acceleration is then used to improve the estimate of present and future position of the vehicle being tracked. Simulation of a T-38 aircraft performing a 5 g turn indicates that the new tracker produces maximum trajectory prediction errors that are 36 percent of the errors experienced by more conventional trackers.  相似文献
