阐明了在现有的直升机性能计算中,旋翼功率传递系数总是假定为常数,这种处理方法具有很大的局限性。文章详细地介绍了从飞行力学的角度来确定直升机平直飞行时的旋翼功率传递系数。首先,通过飞行力学中的配平计算得到直升机在不同飞行速度下的旋翼和尾桨的需用功率;然后,用试飞实测方法确定除旋翼和尾桨外的功率损耗;最终,得到直升机在不同飞行速度下的旋翼功率传递系数。认为:由于旋翼、尾桨的需用功率由飞行力学的配平方法得到,其结果能合理地反映飞行状态和直升机尾部构型等因素对它们的影响,加上除旋翼和尾桨外的功率由试飞实测得到,因而文中所述的直升机旋翼功率传递系数能更准确地反映直升机的功率传递关系。  相似文献

Sounding rockets and satellites have discovered a large variety of plasma waves within the Earth's magnetosphere—geospace. These waves are found over a frequency range of millihertz to megahertz. The frequency ranges are generally associated with characteristic frequencies such as the plasma frequency and gyrofrequency. Most waves are generated by hot or streaming magnetospheric plasma; some waves are due to lightning discharges, to intentional man-made transmitters or to incidental radiation from power transmission systems. Propagation of waves from the observation region back to a probable source region can be modelled using ray tracing techniques in a model magnetosphere where the electron number density, ion composition and magnetic field vector is specified. Information in addition to the common amplitude-frequency-time spectrograms can be obtained from the received waves using multiple antennas and receivers. Cross-correlation of the wave electric and magnetic components can provide information on the wave polarization and direction of propagation and on the wave distribution function.  相似文献

A 400 Hz aircraft power generating system which has been designed to achieve significant improvements in power density and reliability is introduced. Design targets for this exploratory development program include system (generator-plus-converter) power density of 1 kVA/lb and mean-time-between-failure (MTBF) of 500 h. At the heart of the new variable-speed constant-frequency (VSCF) configuration is a high-frequency resonant link inverter designed so that all inverter switching occurs under zero-voltage conditions. Advantages include minimization of switching losses and significant reductions in power device switching stresses and electromagnetic interference (EMI) generation. Inverter losses are further reduced by using MOS-controlled thyristors (MCTs) as the power switches in order to take advantage of their low forward voltage. A 60 kVA breadboard version of the system has been constructed, and test results which confirm its key performance characteristics are presented  相似文献

A new single-stage single-switch power factor correction converter with output electrical isolation is presented. The configuration of this converter is achieved by combining a flyback circuit and a forward circuit in one power stage. The principle of operation and steady-state analysis of the proposed topology is given. Based on its steady-state operation constraints, a design procedure along with a specific design example is reported. This paper presents analysis, design, and practical considerations for 500 W boost power factor correctors (PFCs). The boost PFCs with three active soft-switching cells, which are boost, forward and flyback, and a passive soft-switching cell are first discussed. The operating principle and performance characteristics of the PFCs are then presented in detail, from which the boost with a flyback soft-switching cell and that with a passive soft-switching cell are designed and implemented. Performance comparison among these PFCs is also presented. Hardware measurements are used to verify the theoretical discussion. 以电推进飞机的动力系统作为研究对象,开展了以下研究工作:采用电力系统潮流计算方法,分析了采用高压直流供电体制的分布式电推进飞机电气系统,模拟了其在稳定运行状态与断路故障状态下的能量流动关系,同时分析了直流电压等级对电气系统的影响。搭建了完整的分布式电推进飞机动力系统仿真模型,依据基于时间和基于高度的飞行剖面,对比分析了纯电推进与涡轮电推进架构在推进功率、推进效率与航程3个评价指标上的优劣。建立了动力系统典型部件的参数化模型,并使用符号规划算法对建立的参数化模型进行了优化计算,比较了传统涡轮推进与涡轮电推进架构下动力系统质量与燃油消耗率间的优化权衡关系。研究结果为分布式电推进飞机混合动力系统的设计提供了有价值的正向设计方法。  相似文献

越来越多的电力电子装置应用到多电飞机(MEA)电力系统中,导致MEA用电负荷功率呈现脉动特性,采用混合储能系统(HESS)平抑负荷功率脉动。为减少HESS重量,提出了一种高功率密度的优化配置方法。为建立负荷功率与储能介质之间的关系,提出了等效时间(ET)的概念,比较两者的ET常数作为储能系统类型选取的依据。进一步提出空间矢量法,采用能量型储能介质矢量和功率型储能介质矢量合成负荷功率,确定最优单体和截止频率,实现了HESS高功率密度配置。同时,从能量约束和功率约束两个方面进行HESS的容量的计算。最后,通过算例配置和仿真分析验证了本文所提方法的可行性和正确性。  相似文献

为了消除高峰均功率比低频脉冲负载对有限容量机载交流供电系统的周期性冲击等不利影响,对开关器件进行集成和复用,提出了能够同时提供功率解耦端口和直流输出端口的三端口功率解耦整流器。通过将三端口整流器与DC/DC变换器组合,构造出集成低频脉冲功率解耦端口的机载电源系统,实现了直流侧周期性脉动功率和交流源侧功率的解耦,并保证低频脉冲负载正常供电需求。详细分析了三端口整流器的工作原理,提出了与之相适应的功率控制方法和调制策略,基于开关器件分时复用原理,实现了交流端口到两个直流端口的功率传输和分配,并实现了两个直流端口功率切换过程的平滑过渡。实验结果验证了所提三端口脉冲功率解耦整流器的有效性和可行性。  相似文献

Maturing of the enabling technologies has provided much of the infrastructure to support the development of a commercial Solar Power Satellite program. Solar Space Industries was formed to accomplish this goal. The basis of their development plan is to build a Ground Test Installation that will duplicate, in small scale on the Earth, all aspects of the power generating and power transmission systems except for the space environment and the range and size of the energy beam. Space operations issues will be separated from the power generation fixation and verified by testing. Doing the developmental testing on the ground instead of in space will result in a low cost program that can be accomplished in a very short time. The concept is to build a Ground Test Installation that couples an existing 100 kW terrestrial solar cell array to a phased-array wireless power transmitter based on a subarray. Power will be transmitted over a 1-¼ mile range to a receiving antenna and then fed into a commercial utility power grid. The objective is to demonstrate the complete function of the Solar Power Satellites, with the primary issue being the validation of practical wireless power transmission. The designers of any portable computer face a dilemma when choosing the power source for their product. The product can be either smaller and lighter than the competition-and possibly suffer from shorter run-time-or it may have superior run-time at the expense of added weight and volume. The balance between these options is a delicate one that impacts product acceptance and ultimately the manufacturer's revenue stream. Of course a high energy density power source represents only half of the run-time equation. The use of lower power hardware to achieve a given level of functionality can have an equally differentiating effect; and much work is currently underway to improve hardware power efficiency (Fadel, 1993). As levels of circuit integration increase emphasis upon power reduction is critical to achieve reliable operation at a reasonable temperature without some form of active cooling. Most utility power quality problems are caused by sags, surges, and momentary outages which last from several cycles to several seconds. Modern loads are very sensitive to these short duration glitches resulting in major losses in revenue through system down-time and loss of product from work in process. Many of these problems are caused by normal transients as equipment and factories go on-line or shut down. Others are caused by lightening strikes and faults on the distribution system. Although power utility companies attempt to minimize the interruptions through filtering and system management, power quality problems continue to cost American industry billions of dollars a year. Batteries have been used for many years in uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) to protect critical loads. However, because many new facilities have a network of broadly distributed critical loads, a UPS on the order of one to several megawatts is needed to support the total plant rather than several small kilowatt installations. The status of the US Air Force Space Power Research and Development Program is summarized. Generic issues and requirements affecting the strategic planning of space power advances for the 1990s and beyond are described. The major thrusts of the Air Fore part of the Strategic Defense Initiative Office Space Power Program are highlighted, with emphasis on the ongoing advanced component technology development program. The status of these component technologies in the areas of power sources, energy storage, power management and distribution, and thermal management is described. Technology projections for the full range of envisioned technology options for the foregoing are used as the basis for a series of point designs for deriving the subsystem- and system-level benefits of the technologies. The primary focus is on baseload (CW) power systems operating in the range from 100 W for small satellites to 50 kW for potential large surveillance satellites. The secondary focus is on large, multimegawatt pulsed power systems and related components for potential applications such as directed energy. Energy and power     
Energy sources for aerospace systems include electrochemicals, mechanical rotation, solar illumination, radioisotopes, and nuclear reactors. Energy is converted to power with engines, turbines, photovoltaics, thermoelectric and thermionic devices, and electrochemical processes. Although some early spacecraft flew with battery power, for longer flights the choice has been either solar or nuclear. Manned spacecraft must have power for the total mission duration including boost into orbit, on-orbit, and subsequent re-entry. Batteries are too heavy for extended manned space missions; tradeoff study alternatives range from radioisotope heated thermionic converters to hyperbolic-fueled engines. Arrays of solar cells are the obvious choice for powering space stations and for other extended-duration missions. This article emphasizes developments for space and airplane power systems. The key issues in microwave power system engineering are beam safety, frequency allocation, and affordability. These major issues are presented, discussed, and suggestions for resolving them are offered. The issue of beam safety can be captured in the phrase “Fear of Frying.” Can a properly engineered beamed power safety system allay the public perception of microwave radiation dangers? Openness, visibility, and education may be keys to resolving this issue satisfactorily. “Not in my Spectrum” is a phrase that is frequently encountered in connection with the issue of where can the microwave power beam frequency be located. International cooperation may provide a part of the solution to this issue. “Wow, that much!” is a phrase encountered when dealing with the issue of economic affordability of large beamed power systems. A phased engineering approach for multiple uses even during construction is presented to aid in garnering revenue during the system build phase. A high power factor rectifier based on neutral point clamped scheme is proposed. The voltage stress of each power semiconductor of the adopted rectifier is equal to the half dc bus voltage instead of full dc link voltage in the conventional switching mode rectifier. The control signals of the power switches are derived from the dc link voltage balance compensator, line current controller, and dc link voltage regulator. The hysteresis current control scheme is employed to draw a clean sinusoidal line current, high input power factor, regulated dc link voltage, and balance capacitor voltages. Three voltage levels are generated on the ac terminal of the adopted rectifier. To verify the proposed operation scheme, performance characteristics are given by the experimental results.  相似文献

近年来,随着高超声速技术的长足进步,特别是在超燃冲压技术逐渐面向工程化的背景下,关于高超声速飞机及其动力系统的讨论也频繁出现。为了在宽速域条件下工作,基于不同热力循环工作模式的组合动力系统相继被提出,高超声速飞机的动力发展形式出现了百花齐放、百家争鸣的局面,也对高超声速飞机动力系统的选型提出了巨大挑战。通过对飞机发展史及高超声速相关发展技术的综述,阐述了现阶段组合动力是高超声速飞机动力主要发展方向这一结论,针对高超声速飞机需求,梳理和分析了几种高超声速组合动力系统的工作原理、工作特性及优缺点,并展望了采用组合动力系统对未来高超声速飞机研究带来的挑战。随着飞行速度的提高,高超声速飞机和动力系统的一体化势在必行。  相似文献

Alternative methods for power flow and fault analysis of single-phase distribution systems are presented. The algorithms for both power flow and fault analysis utilize a generalized approach to network modeling. The generalized admittance matrix, formed using elements of linear graph theory, is an accurate network model for all possible single-phase network configurations. Unlike the standard nodal admittance matrix formulation algorithms, the generalized approach uses generalized component models for the transmission line and transformer. The standard assumption of a common node voltage reference point is not required to construct the generalized admittance matrix. Therefore, truly accurate simulation results can be obtained for networks that cannot be modeled using traditional techniques  相似文献

Three control techniques for a high power factor multilevel pulsewidth modulation (PWM) rectifier are proposed. The proposed rectifier is based on series connection of full-bridge cell to achieve a high power factor, low current distortion, low voltage stress of power semiconductors and two balanced output voltages. The look-up table is used in the proposed control schemes to reduce the hardware circuit. A capacitor voltage compensator is used to balance two dc capacitor voltages in order to obtain high quality PWM voltage pattern. Based on the proposed control schemes, two-level or three-level PWM pattern can be generated on the ac side of the adopted rectifier. The proposed techniques for a high power factor multilevel rectifier illustrate its validity and effectiveness through the respective simulations and experiments. High power IGBTs have been widely used for medium power inverters up to 200 kVA. Their driver circuits often require multiple-output, isolated power supplies. This paper presents a simple flyback power supply especially designed for the driver boards of three-phase IGBT inverters. The detailed circuit diagrams and typical waveforms are reported.
