Flow response hysteresis of throat regulation process of a two-dimensional mixed-compression supersonic inlet

The variable geometry supersonic inlet tends to decrease the throat area to reduce the Mach number upstream of the terminal shock, so as to reduce the flow loss. However, excessive Internal Contraction Ratio(ICR) exposes the inlet to a greater risk of unstart, which inevitably results in a process of increasing the throat area to aid the inlet restart. 陈玉梅,“另类”的电影明星

简介简介:陈玉梅生于1910年,江苏孟河人,原名费梦敏,15岁进入邵氏"笑舞台"训练班,16岁进入天一影片公司,1923年在《松柏缘》一片中演配角,1926年在《唐伯虎点秋香》中主演秋香而成名,此后先后主演了《生机》、《挣扎》、《兰芸姑娘》、《花弄影》、《燕双飞》、《崔眠曲》等30余部电影,曾被选为"中国十佳男女明星"及"电影皇后"。在上世纪30年代的上海滩电影界里,有一位年轻、漂亮、文静及质朴的女明星,她的名字就叫陈玉梅,曾在上海的影迷中红极一时,她的名声同胡蝶、阮玲玉、王人美等大牌明星并驾齐驱,在1933年《电声月报》举办的活动中被影迷们评选为"中国十大明星之一",1934年被《影戏生活》日报评选为电影"皇后"。之后与天一影片公司老板结婚,从此息影。然而,陈玉梅是怎样当上电影皇后的,她又是这样被人曾经称为"节约皇后"的,这里充满了鲜为人知的故事。

Model parameters estimation of aero-engine based on hybrid optimization algorithm

A hybrid optimization algorithm for the time-domain identification of multivariable,state space model for aero-engine was presented in this paper.The optimization procedure runs particle swarm optimization (PSO) and least squares optimization (LSO) "in series".PSO starts from an initial population and searches for the optimum solution by updating generations.However,it can sometimes run into a suboptimal solution.Then LSO can start from the suboptimal solution of PSO,and get an optimum solution by conjugate gradient algorithm.The algorithm is suitable for the high-order multivariable system which has many parameters to be estimated in wide ranges.Hybrid optimization algorithm is applied to estimate the parameters of a 4-input 4-output state variable model (SVM) for aero-engine.The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Experimental study on effect of inclination angles to ammonia pulsating heat pipe

In this paper, a novel study on performance of closed loop pulsating heat pipe（CLPHP）using ammonia as working fluid is experimented. The tested CLPHP, consisting of six turns, is fully made of quartz glass tubes with 6 mm outer diameter and 2 mm inner diameter. The filling ratio is50%. The visualization investigation is conducted to observe the oscillation and circulation flow in the CLPHP. In order to investigate the effects of inclination angles to thermal performance in the ammonia CLPHP, four case tests are studied. The trends of temperature fluctuation and thermal resistance as the input power increases at different inclination angles are highlighted. The results show that it is very easy to start up and circulate for the ammonia CLPHP at an inclining angle.The thermal resistance is low to 0.02 K/W, presenting that heat fluxes can be transferred from heating section to cooling section very quickly. It is found that the thermal resistance decreases as the inclination angle increases. At the horizontal operation, the ammonia CLPHP can be easy to start up at low input power, but hard to circulate. In this case, once the input power is high,the capillary tube in heating section will be burnt out, leading to worse thermal performance with high thermal resistance.
