采用金刚石模拟高脆性、高熔点微流星体材料,对航天器典型Whipple防护结构进行高速撞击试验.试验表明,撞击产生的高温高压效应导致金刚石部分或全部转化为石墨,金刚石对防护结构的损伤主要体现在中低速阶段,当撞击速度大于4.3km/s时,对后板的灼烧损伤极为显著。  相似文献

用化学方法提纯人造金刚石,在一定程度上降低了人造金刚石单晶的强度,在变温熔融NaOH除叶腊石工序时,金刚石单晶抗压强度降低10~40MPa。采用另一种人造金刚石提纯新工艺,即提纯中不用或少用化学提纯法,使50/60目以粗金刚石单晶免于NaOH处理,从而有效地保证了人造金刚石单晶产品质量,并且简化了生产工序,降低了成本,减轻了劳动强度。  相似文献

Chemical vapor deposition techniques for depositing diamond films at low pressure are reviewed, along with current and potential applications for these films. A new chemical vapor transport technique is described that is simpler and suitable for microgravity and centrifuge experiments. It was used to deposit diamond on silicon, molybdenum, graphite, glass, and carbon felt. Selective patterned deposition was achieved on a copper pattern on oxidized silicon. Centrifugation at only ∼2g greatly increased the nucleation density, area of deposition, and growth rate. The self-regulating behavior of this new technique is explained in terms of chemical and transport mechanisms.  相似文献

结合卫星“微型核”的特点,用分子动力学模拟的方法研究了金刚石晶体的热导率与其厚度和温度的依变关系。采用平衡分子动力学的方法(EMD)模拟了晶向(001)的金刚石纳米薄膜法向热导率;采用非平衡分子动力学(NEMD)方法模拟了晶向(111)的金刚石法向热导率。模拟的结果表明:金刚石纳米薄膜的法向热导率显著小于对应大体积晶体的实验值,并随着厚度的增加而增加;在模拟范围内法向热导率与薄膜厚度呈近似线性关系;薄膜热导率在模拟厚度为2.05334nm时随着温度的增加而增加;在模拟厚度为2.874676nm时,则随着温度的增加而下降。  相似文献

In the first part of this paper, subatmospheric CVD methods for diamond thin film synthesis under normal gravity and other conditions are reviewed, following their increased capability for large-scale manufacturing. Emphasis is given to current problems and advances in moderate pressure d.c. plasma CVD operating under normal gravity and high-gravity. In the second part, an experimental technique aimed at solving the problem of temperature uniformity on the substrate surface at high gravity is presented. This technique improved temperature uniformity during diamond deposition at various gravity conditions and allowed a more accurate assessment of the influence of gravity on diamond growth and thin-film morphology.  相似文献

Microorganisms metabolizing on clay grains in 3-km-deep Greenland basal ice   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
We have discovered > 10(8) microbial cells/cm3 attached to clay grains in the bottom 13 m of the GISP2 (Greenland Ice Sheet Project) ice core. Their concentration correlates with huge excesses of CO2 and CH4. We show that Fe-reducing bacteria produce most of the excess CO2 and methanogenic archaea produce the excess CH4. The number of attached cells per clay grain is proportional to grain perimeter rather than to area, which implies that nutrients are accessed at grain edges. We conclude that Fe-reducing microbes immobilized on clay surfaces metabolize via "shuttle" molecules that transport electrons to grain edges, where they reduce Fe(III) ions at edges to Fe(II) while organic acid ions are oxidized to CO2. Driven by the concentration gradient, electrons on Fe(II) ions at grain edges "hop" to Fe(III) ions inward in the same edges and oxidize them. The original Fe(III) ions can then attach new electrons from shuttle molecules at the edges. Our mechanism explains how Fe-reducers can reduce essentially all Fe(III) in clay minerals. We estimate that the Fe(III) in clay grains in the GISP2 silty ice can sustain Fe-reducing bacteria at the ambient temperature of -9 degrees C for approximately 10(6) years. F420 autofluorescence imaging shows that > 2.4% of the cells are methanogens, which account for the excess methane.  相似文献

Purported biogenic features of the ALH84001 Martian meteorite (the carbonate globules, their submicron magnetite grains, and organic matter) have reasonable inorganic origins, and a comprehensive hypothesis is offered here. The carbonate globules were deposited from hydrothermal water, without biological mediation. Thereafter, ALH84001 was affected by an impact shock event, which raised its temperature nearly instantaneously to 500-700K, and induced iron-rich carbonate in the globules to decompose to magnetite and other minerals. The rapidity of the temperature increase caused magnetite grains to nucleate in abundance; hence individual crystals were very small. Nucleation and growth of magnetite crystals were fastest along edges and faces of the precursor carbonate grains, forcing the magnetite grains to be platy or elongated, including the "truncated hexa-octahedra" shape. ALH84001 had formed at some depth within Mars where the lithostatic pressure was significantly above that of Mars' surface. Also, because the rock was at depth, the impact heat dissipated slowly. During this interval, magnetite crystals approached chemical equilibria with surrounding minerals and gas. Their composition, nearly pure Fe(3)O(4), reflects those of equilibria; elements that substitute into magnetite are either absent from iron-rich carbonate (e.g., Ti, Al, Cr), or partitioned into other minerals during magnetite formation (Mg, Mn). Many microstructural imperfections in the magnetite grains would have annealed out as the rock cooled. In this post-shock thermal regime, carbon-bearing gas from the decomposition of iron carbonates reacted with water in the rock (or from its surroundings) to produce organic matter via Fischer-Tropschlike reactions. Formation of such organic compounds like polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons would have been catalyzed by the magnetite (formation of graphite, the thermochemically stable phase, would be kinetically hindered).  相似文献
