A new two-channel laser Doppler velocimeter developed for the Ames High Reynolds Channel No. II is described. Design features required for the satisfactory operation of the optical system in the channel environment are discussed. Fiber optics are used to transmit the megahertz Doppler signal to the photodetectors located outside the channel pressure vessel, and provision is made to isolate the optical system from pressure and thermal strain effects. Computer-controlled scanning mirrors are used to psoition the laser beams in the channel flow. Techniques used to seed the flow with 0.5-?-diam polystyrene spheres avoiding deposition on the test-section windows and porous boundary-layer removal panels are described. Preliminary results are presented with a discussion of several of the factors affecting accuracy.  相似文献

In this paper the use of hot-wire anemometers for obtaining turbulence data in two-dimensional compressible flows has been reviewed. Based on the existing experimental results, the methods of extracting different turbulent quantities from the output signal of the hot-wire anemometer in a given flow environment have been described and evaluated. Comparison between the results obtained with the laser Doppler velocimeter (LDV) and the hot-wire anemometer clearly shows that the latter should still be considered as one of the main tools for turbulence research in compressible non-separated turbulent flows not only for its comparable accuracy but also for its much lower cost and ease of operation as compared with the optical methods.  相似文献

A long-range laser velocimeter (LV) developed for remote operation from within the flow fields of large wind tunnels is described. Emphasis is placed on improvements in optical hardware as well as additions to data acquisition and processing techniques. The method used for data reduction of photon resolved signals is outlined in detail, and measurement accuracy is discussed. To study the performance of the LV and verify the measurement accuracy, laboratory measurements were made in the flow field of a 10-cm-diameter, 30-m/s axisymmetric jet. The measured velocity and turbulence intensity surveys are compared with measurements made with a hot-wire anemometer. Additionally, the LV was used during the flow calibration of the 80-ft×120-ft wind tunnel to measure the test-section boundary layer thickness at the maximum wind tunnel speed of 51.5 m/s. The requirements and techniques used to seed the flow are discussed, and boundary-layer surveys of mean velocity and turbulence intensity of the streamwise component and the component normal to the surface are presented. 为验证粒子图像测速仪(PIV)技术在螺旋桨尾流场测试应用中的精度,在空泡水筒中,针对同一螺旋桨,在同一工况,同一时段,对螺旋桨尾流场开展了PIV和激光多普勒测速仪(LDV)比对测试研究.试验结果表明:两种测试技术在流场宏观量显示上得到了比较一致的结果,PIV技术同样可以捕捉到沿周向仅有8°的速度突跳,只是突跳值较LDV测试值小.PIV数据均值与LDV有2%~3%的偏差,进一步分析表明:提高PIV测试系统的定位精度可以缩小这种偏差.   相似文献

用数字粒子图像测速技术(DPIV)测量了扩散火焰周围气流在梯度磁场作用下的速度分布,并与无磁场作用下的速度分布比较。结果表明当梯度磁场作用于扩散火焰时,火焰周围气体运动被加速,火焰的形状变得尖锐,亮度增加。实验定量地验证了梯度磁场可以诱导气体对流的发生,从而进一步推进扩散火焰燃烧反应。  相似文献

The principle of Doppler global velocimetry (DGV) and a DGV system optimized for time averaged three-component velocity measurements is described in this paper. Furthermore, the design of the different components of the DGV-system as well as the manner of its operation is presented.The volumetric, time averaged, three-component velocity distribution was acquired in the isothermal flow of a low NOx, staged combustion chamber sector from Rolls-Royce Deutschland. The combustor was developed within the German public-funded Engine 3E program. On the basis of the collected data, the complex flow phenomena in the combustor could be analyzed in detail and supported by CFD calculations.A recently developed, pulsed Nd:YAG laser now enables planar, time-averaged, three-component DGV application in combusting flow fields. Measurements were carried out in a single-nozzle, kerosene combustion chamber model, operated under atmospheric pressure. The successful measurements demonstrated the capability of DGV as a new tool for combustion research. It was possible to separately measure the gas velocity and the velocity of the fuel droplets, a promising capability of DGV for two phase flow analysis.  相似文献

The advent of micro aerial vehicles (MAV) and advanced flow control methods, using microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and micro-blowing or suction, has significantly increased the need for a better understanding of very low Reynolds number flows. Aerodynamic testing in this flow regime using conventional facilities, such as wind or water tunnels, is seriously hampered by the necessary small model sizes and low testing speeds, rendering it very difficult to diagnose the flow with adequate spatial resolution and to measure aerodynamic loads with sufficient accuracy. A proof-of-concept pilot of a novel facility specifically intended for low Reynolds number testing has been built and is briefly described. It is based on the use of a high kinematic viscosity test medium, which allows testing superscale models at the correct Reynolds number. The facility is akin to a towing tank, but does not have a free surface with its associated shortcomings. Implementation of the particle image velocimetry (PIV) technique in this type of facility is complicated by the fact that the optics, rather than being stationary as is the case in conventional aerodynamic testing facilities, move in synchronism with the model. Mistracking directly results in velocity-field errors which must be corrected. Methods to do so are described.  相似文献

研究气-气喷注器气流流动混合过程,基于粒子图像测速仪(PIV)实验系统,采用对两股气流分别示踪的方法,对三种典型结构的气一气喷注器混合场开展了实验研究.实验结果验证了这种实验方案的可行性,结合轴截面和横截面的流场分布测量,得到了同轴离心式、同轴直流式、互击式气一气喷注器气流混合过程的主要作用因素和混合场的分布特征.  相似文献

光流算法作为一种载体速度测量方法,易受光照变化、物体相对移动影响,最终导致速度信息获取不准确。为了提高载体运动速度解算精度,提出了一种基于模糊核均值聚类算法优化的金字塔Lucas-Kanade光流测速方法(FKCM-金字塔LK)。该方法首先通过金字塔LK光流算法得到稀疏光流,然后使用模糊核均值聚类算法对稀疏光流数据进行聚类处理,最终建立光流与实验平台运动参数之间的关系,并得到准确的速度信息。实验结果表明,提出的基于模糊核均值聚类算法优化的金字塔LK光流测速方法不仅可以有效地减少物体相对移动对光流测速的影响,而且与现有其他光流测速方法相比,速度测量精度得到显著提高。  相似文献

为了研究带有冷却气流的涡轮叶冠间隙流场流动特性,采用粒子图像测速仪(PIV)技术得到了叶冠间隙流场中各个典型截面的瞬时流场显示,并对叶冠间隙流场特性进行了研究.研究发现:由于叶冠腔内有两股叶尖冷却气流的注入,叶尖泄漏流流过叶冠间隙时会与两股冷却流相互掺混,从而使腔内气流的流动状态变得非常复杂,因此在叶冠突肩之后以及叶冠腔内流体汇合处会有大小方向各异的涡流产生.同时,两股冷却气流均对泄漏流有一定的阻挡作用,前孔冷却流的阻挡作用更为明显.随前孔与后孔岀流比增加,前孔流及后孔流对泄露流的阻挡作用增强.   相似文献

对带双级扩压器的模型燃烧室气液两相瞬态喷雾燃烧过程,在三维贴体坐标系下采用欧拉-拉格朗日两相大涡模拟方法进行数值研究,同时采用多维经验分析法预估燃烧性能.采用 k 方程亚网格尺度模型模拟亚网格湍流黏性;亚网格EBU(eddy-break-up)燃烧模型预估化学反应速率;多维经验分析法计算燃烧性能;并在非交错网格体系下气相采用SIMPLE(semi-implicit method for pressure-linked equations)算法对控制方程进行求解,液相采用随机离散模型,两相之间的耦合采用PSIC(particle-source-in-cell)算法.通过大涡模拟瞬态及时均计算结果表明:与粒子图像测速仪(PIV)测量的瞬态速度场、出口温度分布试验数据吻合,表明在三维贴体坐标系下采用欧拉-拉格朗日两相大涡模拟方法,数值模拟模型燃烧室两相喷雾燃烧流场,所采用的亚网格模型可以用于燃烧室气液两相喷雾燃烧流场的大涡模拟;燃烧性能计算结果与试验测量结果基本一致,说明所采用多维经验分析法可以用来数值模拟航空发动机燃烧室燃烧性能的计算,特别是污染物的预估,为设计低污染高性能航空发动机燃烧室提供有用的设计依据.   相似文献

采用计算流体动力学软件数值研究了某1.5级轴流涡轮转子叶尖蜂窝面迷宫密封泄漏流动对主流流场的影响,分析了不同的顶部间隙下叶尖密封泄漏流对主流流场的影响以及泄漏流与主流的掺混对下游静叶流场的影响,并对带与不带蜂窝面的迷宫密封对涡轮级气动性能的影响进行了比较.研究结果表明:泄漏流与主流在动叶下游掺混后导致掺混区域流体速度发生偏转,以负攻角进入下游静叶,带来攻角损失.泄漏流体带有较高的径向速度,在静叶栅通道中会向中间叶展处发展,使得静叶栅上半通道的流场结构发生改变,带来额外的二次流损失.并且随着叶顶间隙的增大,损失也随之增大.蜂窝的特殊六边形结构极大地降低了密封腔中流体的周向速度,减小了泄漏流重新进入主流时与主流的速度差异,从而减小了掺混损失.并且蜂窝结构能改变迷宫腔内气体的流动形态,采用蜂窝面的迷宫密封能有效地降低泄漏.   相似文献

The present paper investigates the impact of the velocity and density ratio on the turbulent mixing process in gas turbine blade film cooling.A cooling fluid is injected from an inclined pipe at α=30° into a turbulent boundary layer profile at a freestream Reynolds number of Re∞=400000.This jet-in-a-crossflow(JICF) problem is investigated using large-eddy simulations(LES).The governing equations comprise the Navier-Stokes equations plus additional transport equations for several species to simulate a non-reacting gas mixture.A variation of the density ratio is simulated by the heat-mass transfer analogy,i.e.,gases of different density are effused into an an air crossflow at a constant temperature.An efficient large-eddy simulation method for low subsonic flows based on an implicit dual time-stepping scheme combined with low Mach number preconditioning is applied.The numerical results and experimental velocity data measured using two-component particle-image velocimetry (PIV) are in excellent agreement.The results show the dynamics of the flow field in the vicinity of the jet hole,i.e.,the recirculation region and the inclination of the shear layers,to be mainly determined by the velocity ratio.However,evaluating the cooling efficiency downstream of the jet hole the mass flux ratio proves to be the dominant similarity parameter,i.e.,the density ratio between the fluids and the velocity ratio have to be considered.   相似文献

A new physics-based model employing three transport equations is developed for the simulation of boundary layer transitions in a wide speed range. The laminar kinetic energy is used to represent pretransitional streamwise velocity fluctuations, taking account of different instability modes. The fluctuation velocity components normal to the streamwise direction are modeled by another transport equation. Transition is triggered automatically with the development of the pretransitional velocity fluctuations. In the fully turbulent region, the model reverts to the k-ω turbulence model. Different test cases, including subsonic, supersonic and hypersonic flows around flat plates, airfoils and straight cones, are numerically simulated to validate the performance of the model. The results demonstrate the excellent predictive capabilities of the model in different paths of transition. The model can serve as a basis for the extension of additional transition mechanisms, such as rotation and curvature effects, roughness-induced transition and crossflow-induced transition.  相似文献

通过试验和数值模拟方法研究不同进口油气比与温度以及主燃孔布局变化对双旋流模型燃烧室两相燃烧整体流场、出口温度丁以及污染物NOx排放的影响.采用二维粒子图像测速仪(PIV)测量燃烧室内热态流场,用多点温度耙和取样管测量燃烧室出口温度T与NOx在非结构网格体系下,采用Fluent商业软件对燃烧室三维两相燃烧流场和NOx分布进行计算.计算结果与试验数据符合较好,表明不同油气比、进气温度和主燃孔布局变化对模型燃烧室两相燃烧整体流场、出口温度T与NOx排放都有一定的影响,并随着油气比与进气温度增加,燃烧室出口温度T与NOx排放也相应地提高.   相似文献

采用三维RANS代码MBNS3D对包含了内流、外流及后体干扰的三种简化尾喷流,进行了数值模拟研究。通过壁面压力分布及喷流截面速度型与实验数据的对比,研究了SA和SST两种湍流模型及其修正(SACC,SADES,SSTCC)对喷流计算精度的影响。本文计算表明,SSTCC模拟效果最为精确;利用SA模型进行脱体涡模拟,在同样的网格下优势不明显。湍流模型可压缩修正改善了模拟喷流的膨胀趋势,但对附面层分离位置的预测,在本文的工作中,还不如原始模型。两类模型相比,SST模型的结果好于SA模型。  相似文献

利用PIV技术对两种不同尺寸的中心突扩燃烧室在不同入口速度条件下的冷态流场进行了实验研究,测量并分析了流场结构与来流速度、突扩比、喷管收缩段等因素的关系。实验结果表明利用PIV技术能较好地获得高速条件下燃烧室二维速度场;对于不同突扩比的燃烧室,突扩面后的流场结构类似,但回流区的最大负速度与入口速度的比例关系不同;在喷管人口处,流场在此处重新形成旋涡,其直径较大,但强度相对较弱。  相似文献
