This paper presents an experimental study on wrinkle reduction in a rectangular membrane structure with elliptical boundary cuts. The structure is subjected to two different heat loads: 145 °C and 205 °C. Wrinkling induced by the thermal expansion of the membrane is measured using a photogrammetry system and the root mean square of the membrane's surface above a plane of best fit. A fuzzy logic controller is developed to track a desired flatness level when the membrane is subject to either application or removal of a thermal load. Experimental verification is conducted using a membrane structure test facility and the results show that wrinkles have been reduced significantly and quickly using the proposed fuzzy logic controller. 相似文献

This paper presents a dual-stage control system design method for the three-axis-rotational maneuver and vibration stabilization of a spacecraft with flexible appendages embedded with piezoceramics as sensors/actuators. In this design approach, attitude control system and vibration suppression were designed separately using lower order model. The design of attitude controller was based on variable-structure control (VSC) theory leading to a discontinuous control law. To accomplish asymptotic attitude maneuvering in the closed-loop system and be insensitive to the interaction of elastic modes in the presence of unknown disturbances/uncertainty and input saturation as well, a switching mechanism is employed to design the attitude controller such that outside the sliding region VSC law with a time-varying sliding surface is implemented and inside the region the VSC law with a linear sliding surface is activated. Furthermore, a hyperbolic tangent function in conjunction with a sharpness function permitted to vary with time according to a set of user-defined parameters is implemented to offset the disadvantages of existing saturation-respecting controller and chattering. In addition, for actively damping the excited elastic vibrations during attitude maneuvering, modal velocity feedback and strain rate feedback control design methods are presented and compared by using piezoelectric materials as additional sensors and actuators bonded on the surface of the flexible appendages. Numerical simulations are performed to show that rotational maneuver and vibration suppression are accomplished in spite of the presence of disturbance torque, parameter uncertainty and control saturation nonlinearity. 相似文献

The paper proposes the use of solar radiation pressure for satellite attitude control in elliptic orbits based on variable structure control. The system comprises of a satellite with two-oppositely placed solar flaps. Sliding mode control and terminal sliding mode control techniques have been adopted to develop nonlinear control laws for suitably rotating the control solar flaps to neutralize the adverse effect of eccentricity normally responsible for a considerable deterioration in the attitude control performance. The detailed numerical simulation of the governing nonlinear equation of the motion including the effects of various system parameters on the controller performance, establishes the feasibility of the proposed control strategy. The proposed controller is found to be robust against parameter uncertainties and external disturbances and thereby, the control strategy presented in the paper may be applicable to future satellite missions. 相似文献

文章提出了载人航天器的可重构式控温回路系统,它由独立的中低温内外回路系统组成,可改善低温内回路由于控温点温度较低而对辐射器散热能力带来的影响,还可在某个外回路辐射器故障时进行系统重构,维持回路功能。建立了控温回路系统非稳态仿真分析模型,对正常工作模式下和某外回路故障工作模式下各舱回路控温点温度、设备温度、流量分配和载人航天器热负荷水平进行了分析。结果表明,双外回路系统比单外回路系统散热能力高27%。当双外回路中某回路故障时,通过系统重构,外回路系统可维持1850W散热能力,能保障载人航天器平台安全,表明可重构式控温回路系统能提高系统可靠性。 相似文献

文章针对载人航天器主动控温回路系统中采用的分布式和集中式两类辐射器构型,分别建立了仿真分析模型,对它们在正常工作模式和辐射器支路故障工作模式下的工作性能进行了对比分析。结果表明,采用集中式辐射器的主动控温回路系统所能承受的热负荷水平要优于分布式辐射器对应的主动控温回路系统,且随着故障辐射器支路数目的增加,这两类流体回路所能承受的热负荷水平差异愈加明显。对于文章所设定的模型,正常工作情况下二者差异达到7.4%,单条支路故障时差异达到11%,2条支路故障时差异达到31.5%。 相似文献

This research investigates the performance of bi-level hybrid optimal control algorithms in the solution of minimum delta-velocity geostationary transfer maneuvers with cooperative en-route inspection. The maneuvers, introduced here for the first time, are designed to populate a geostationary constellation of space situational awareness satellites while providing additional characterization of objects in lower-altitude orbit regimes. The maneuvering satellite, called the chaser, performs a transfer from low Earth orbit to geostationary orbit, during which it performs an inspection of one of several orbiting targets in conjunction with a ground site for the duration of the target?s line-of-site contact with that site. A three-target scenario is used to test the performance of multiple bi-level hybrid optimal control algorithms. A bi-level hybrid algorithm is then utilized to solve fifteen-, and thirty-target scenarios and shown to have increasing benefit to complete enumeration as the number of targets is increased. Results indicate that the en-route inspection can be accomplished for a small increase in the delta-velocity required for a simple transfer to geostationary orbit given the same initial conditions. 相似文献

In the first part of this paper, subatmospheric CVD methods for diamond thin film synthesis under normal gravity and other conditions are reviewed, following their increased capability for large-scale manufacturing. Emphasis is given to current problems and advances in moderate pressure d.c. plasma CVD operating under normal gravity and high-gravity. In the second part, an experimental technique aimed at solving the problem of temperature uniformity on the substrate surface at high gravity is presented. This technique improved temperature uniformity during diamond deposition at various gravity conditions and allowed a more accurate assessment of the influence of gravity on diamond growth and thin-film morphology. 相似文献
