The most recent in the series of STRATOPROBE balloon flights were conducted in the Spring of 1985 from the National Scientific Balloon Facility in Texas. Altitude distributions of HCl and CH4 were derived and compared with our results from flights in previous years. The HCl and CH4 column integrated amounts show a trend towards higher concentrations, not inconsistent with other measurements and model calculations. The CH4 was determined from emission spectra using a scanning radiometer as well as from absorption lines in the HCl spectral region recorded with the interferometer. There is good agreement between the two techniques and with a model simulation.  相似文献

利用武汉(30°N,114°E)MF雷达2000年2月11日至25日,以及2月28日至3月13日的观测数据,研究中层顶(80-98km)区域冬季潮汐振荡及其共振相互作用.水平风场扰动的动态谱显示出在所有的观测高度上都持续存在很强的24 h潮汐波动;偶尔也会出现较强的12 h和弱的8 h潮汐振荡,这说明在中纬地区的冬季,24 h潮汐是中层顶区域主要的潮汐成分.潮汐振幅及其相关动能随时间的变化表明,在24h,12h和8h潮汐之间可能存在强的共振相互作用.另外,24 h潮汐的相位随高度的增加呈现出明显的增加趋势,表明观测到的24h潮汐是向上传播的.由相位剖面计算出24h潮汐纬向和经向风场的垂直波长分别为45km和47km,其向下的相位传播速度分别为1.88km/h和1.97km/h.  相似文献

The Galactic transient black hole candidate H 1743–322 exhibited a long duration outburst in 2003 after more than two and a half decades of inactivity. The 2003 event was extensively studied in multi-wavelength bands by many groups. The striking feature is that the total energy released is extremely high as compared to that in tens of outbursts which followed. In this paper, we look at this event and study both the spectral and temporal properties of the source using two component advective flow (TCAF) paradigm. We extract accretion flow parameters for each observation from spectral properties of the decay phase and determine the mass of the black hole. We computed the energy released during all the known outbursts since 2003 and showed that on an average, the energy release in an outburst is proportional to the duration of the quiescent state just prior to it, with the exception of the 2004 outburst. A constant rate of supply of matter from the companion cannot explain the energy release in 2004 outburst. However, if the energy release of 2003 is incomplete and the leftover is released in 2004, then the companion’s rate of matter supply can be constant since 1977 till date. We believe that erratic behaviour of viscosity at the accumulation radius Xp of matter as well as location the Xp itself, rather than the random variation of mass transfer rate from the companion, could be responsible for non-uniformity in outburst pattern. We discuss several factors on which the waiting time and duration of the next outburst could depend.  相似文献

The structure of standing Alfvén waves with large azimuthal wave numbers (m ? 1) is studied in a dipole model of the magnetosphere with rotating plasma. In the direction across magnetic shells the structure of such waves is determined by their dispersion associated with curvature of geomagnetic field lines and corresponds to the travelling wave localized between toroidal and poloidal resonant surfaces. In projection into the ionosphere (along geomagnetic field lines) this structure is similar to the structure of a discrete auroral arc. The azimuthal structure of an auroral arc is similar to azimuthal structure of Alfvén waves with m ∼ 100. Possible interaction mechanisms between the Alfvén waves and energetic electron fluxes forming auroral arcs are discussed.  相似文献

高超声速边界层转捩对摩阻、传热等有重要影响,飞行器的研制迫切希望能精确预测和控制边界层转捩。在JF8A激波风洞中开展了7°半锥角的高超声速尖锥边界层转捩实验研究,利用响应频率达到1 MHz量级的高频压力传感器对尖锥壁面脉动压力进行了测量,并结合热流测量结果,研究了高超声速尖锥边界层中扰动波的发展过程。实验结果表明:JF8A激波风洞在雷诺数为6.4×106/m状态下核心流的自由流噪声为2.8%;高频脉动压力测量技术能清晰地捕捉转捩过程中的第二模态波及其发展历程,试验状态下模型的第二模态波频率范围为165~206 kHz。当前研究结果能够为高超声速数值方法验证提供数据支撑。   相似文献

本文研究了120°E北半球五个电离层站之foF2的变化。指出了赤道异常北峰的运动规律:(1)日出-“日当头”时段,该峰向赤道运动,午后时段则向极运动。(2)运动的反向时间随太阳的最小天顶角的大小而变化,随太阳活动而变化。(3)向极运动主要受电离输运过程所支配,向赤道运动主要为光电离过程所支配。(4)120°E附近电离层赤道异常北峰上午段在海南岛附近,下午段在广州附近。   相似文献

Accuracy of IRI electron density profile depends on the F2 layer peak density and height converted by empirical formulae from the critical frequency and M3000F2 factor provided by the ITU-R (former CCIR). The CCIR/ITU-R maps generated from ground-based ionosonde measurements suffer from model assumptions, in particular, over the oceans where relatively few measurements are available due to a scarcity of ground-based ionosondes. In the present study a grid-point calibration of IRI/ITU-R maps for the foF2 and hmF2 over the oceans is proposed using modeling results based on the topside true-height profiles provided by ISIS1, ISIS2, IK-19 and Cosmos-1809 satellites for the period of 1969–1987. Topside soundings results are compared with IRI and the Russian standard model of ionosphere, SMI, and grouped to provide an empirical calibration coefficient to the peak density and height generated from ITU-R maps. The grid-point calibration coefficients maps are produced in terms of the solar activity, geodetic latitude and longitude, universal time and season allowing update of IRI–ITU-R predictions of the F2 layer peak parameters.  相似文献

The problem of earthquake prediction has stimulated the search for a correlation between seismic activity and ionospherical anomalies. This paper presents new results from observations of the quasi-static electric field and ion density on board INTERCOSMOS-BULGARIA-1300 satellite in the mid latitude ionosphere above sources of moderate earthquakes. Data from INTERCOSMOS-BULGARIA-1300 satellite and seismic data (World Data Center, Denver, Colorado, USA) for magnetically quiet and medium quiet days are juxtaposed in time-space domain. For satellite’s orbits in the time period 15.09–01.10.1981 an increase in the horizontal and vertical components of the quasi-static electric field and fluctuations of the ion density are observed over zones of forthcoming seismic events. Some similar post effects are observed too. The emphasis of this paper is put on the anomalies which specify the mid latitude ionosphere. The obtained results contain important information because they confirm our previous results for near-equatorial and low latitude regions.  相似文献

本文介绍了太阳L260°活动概况,并计算了黑子群的位置漂移及对应的射电缓变源.北京天文台2.84GHz射电望远镜在该活动区观测到8次特大的射电爆发(流量超过1000s.f.u.),其中4次(1991年5月16日,6月9日,6月11日,8月25日)射电爆发时变曲线十分相似而且这些微波爆发都与Ⅱ型Ⅲ型Ⅳ型米波爆发有良好的对应.可能说明该活动区所对应的日冕在长时间内存在一种磁场位形结构,这种磁场位形结构容易产生日冕物质抛射.   相似文献

In this paper, we study conditions of realization and stability of kink modes with azimuthal wave numbers m=±1 in cylindrical plasma flex with twisted magnetic field and homogeneous current along its axis. We assume permanent axial magnetic field both inside and outside the flex, surrounded by currentless plasma. Azimuthal magnetic field decreases inversely proportional to the distance from the boundary beyond the flex. We derived dispersion equations for stable and unstable modes in approximation of “thin” plasma flex. The analysis of equations has been provided for the case of discontinuous axial magnetic field on flex’s boundary. Conditions of propagation of wave modes have been defined. It was shown, that unstable modes can be implemented in certain interval of longitudinal wavenumbers. Results can be applied for the interpretation of solar magnetic tubes behavior, using measurements, provided by spacecrafts.  相似文献

The observations of Global Positioning System (GPS) scintillation, Total Electron Content (TEC) depletion, the periodic structure of TEC and Rate of TEC Index (ROTI) over south China were presented. Data were collected from GPS observations at stations of Shenzhen and Guangzhou from 2011 to 2012. This study reported that the ratio of simultaneous occurrences of TEC depletions with strong scintillations was higher than that of TEC depletions with weak scintillations in vernal and autumnal equinoxes of 2011 over South China. The number of the periodic structures of TEC with depletion contained was greater than that with no depletion contained corresponding to strong scintillations. The structure of the slab of plasma irregularities could be responsible for the simultaneous occurrences of TEC depletion with strong scintillations and ROTI. Before and during the occurrences of strong scintillation, there was Large-Scale Wave Structure (LSWS) which provided the seed ionization perturbation to trigger ESF irregularities and contributed to the periodic structure of TEC.   相似文献

A substantial quantity of wind data have been assembled from radar systems since CIRA-72 was formed: most of these radars include height ranging, and operate on a regular and even continuous basis. Systems include meteor and MF (medium frequency) Radars: an MST (mesosphere-stratosphere-troposphere) Radar (meteor mode); and an LF (low frequency) drift system. Latitudes represented are near 20° N/S, 35° N/S, 45° N/S, 50°N, 65° N/S. In all cases tidal oscillations were calculated so that corrected mean winds (zonal, meridional) are available - the meridional was not included in CIRA-72. Means for groups of years near 1980 are available, as well as individual recent years (1983, 1984) to allow assessment of secular trends: revised and improved analysis has been completed for several stations.Height-time cross-sections have been formed for each observatory: heights are typically ∼75–110 km, with time resolution of 7–30 days. Such detailed cross-sections were almost unknown before 1972. Comparisons with CIRA-72 are shown, and these emphasize the differences between hemispheres (NH, SH) in the radar winds. Other new winds from rockets and satellite radiances are contrasted with the radar set. There are important differences with the satellite-derived geostrophic winds (1973–78): possible explanations involve secular trends, longitudinal variations, and ageostrophy.  相似文献

流动显示结果表明,喷流能有效地推迟双三角翼前缘涡的破裂,且随着攻角的增大,前缘涡破裂位置逐渐推后,喷流极大地改善了大攻角情况下前缘涡的非对称破裂特性,能有效地克服可能出现的机翼的"摇滚"现象.另外,后缘喷流可以减弱乃至消除前缘涡混掺现象的发生,进而有利于飞行器的操纵.   相似文献

采用基于密度泛函理论(DFT)的第一性原理计算方法,研究了M2CoA型Heusler合金Mn2CoAl、Mn2CoSi、Ti2CoAl和Ti2CoSi的电子结构和磁学性质。发现Heusler合金Mn2CoAl是亚铁磁性自旋无带隙半导体,Mn2CoSi与Ti2CoAl是亚铁磁性自旋半金属,而Ti2CoSi是铁磁性自旋半金属。它们的总自旋磁矩均为整数,符合Slater-Pauling规则。然后,在分析电子能带结构和态密度的基础上,探讨了自旋无带隙半导体与半金属性的根源。最后,声子谱和弹性常数计算结果表明所有M2CoA型Heusler合金在晶格动力学和力学上均是稳定的。  相似文献
