The DACON instrument for studying the convection caused by low frequency microaccelerations aboard spacecraft is described. The convection sensor serves as a measuring element of this instrument. This is a cylindrical cavity filled with air, where two crossed differential thermocouples are located. The thermocouple junctions lay on two mutually perpendicular lines parallel to the bases of the cylinder and crossing at its axis. The distances from the junctions to this axis are equal. The lateral surface of the cylinder is thermally insulated, the difference of temperatures on its bases being kept constant. One of the tasks for the sensor is to prepare the data for checking the adequacy of mathematical models of fluid convection under weightlessness conditions and for obtaining quantitative characteristics of the microgravitational medium. The results of ground-based tests of the DACON instrument and the results of experiments with it aboard the Mirstation are presented. 相似文献

A number of scientific and technical experiments were carried out and are still being carried out onboard the Mirorbital station in various fields: physics of fluids, space materials study, astrophysics, biotechnology, and so on. The quality and reliability of space experiments are essentially dependent on a knowledge of real microgravitational situation onboard a satellite, which essentially depends on vibrational perturbations. A lot of vibration processes studies have been done up to now on the Mirstation in the following lines of research: control of dynamic and exploitation regimes when carrying out biotechnological and technological experiments; determination of the contribution of different onboard systems and mechanisms to the total vibration perturbations power; and investigation of distributions of microacceleration levels and dynamics of vibration processes in different modules and segments of the orbital station. This paper presents the results of the analysis of vibration perturbations produced by some standard onboard Mirstation systems in a configuration when the KVANT-2 and KRISTALL modules were arranged along the yaw axis of the mainframe. It is shown that due to strong requirements for tolerable levels of the microaccelerations onboard the International Space Station (ISS), the investigations of microgravitational situation, as an integral part of the technological environment, now have a high priority. 相似文献

On the basis of the data obtained in experiments onboard the Mirorbital complex (OC) in March and April 1999 with the ALICE-2 instrument, the influence of vibrations on heat propagation from a point-like source in the hexafluoride sulfur (SF6) under supercritical parameters is analyzed. The appearance of two different heat propagation regimes is found: along and across the direction of vibrations. Upon the occurrence of the second-type regime, the heating region first stretches in the direction perpendicular to the direction of vibrations and then propagates at a rate typical for the undisturbed case. The temperature relaxation process is analyzed, which takes place near the heater after its turn-off. The relaxation rate grows as the intensity of vibrations increases and the initial temperature tends to the critical one. The determining dimensionless parameters of the problem are suggested. 相似文献

The results of experiments on the growth of InSb:Te by the floating zone melting in the Zona-4 setup during a flight of the Foton-3 satellite are discussed in comparison with the data on the microgravity situation typical for satellites of this type. When analyzing inhomogeneities in the crystals obtained, we reveal the frequencies corresponding to periodical variations of the impurity channel position (the facet effect), to interleaving of packs in which the growth layers are grouped, and to location of subgroups of the growth layers inside the packs. These frequencies are close to those discovered during measurements of low-frequency (quasistationary) microaccelerations (g) onboard the spacecraft Foton-8, Foton-10, Foton-11, and Foton-12. Calculated values of g at the place where the Zona-4 setup is installed confirm the possibility of impact of such g on the heat and mass transfer in the melt. 相似文献

The theoretical models of the formation of the three-dimensional quasi-stationary structures of variations of density and electrostatic potential in a multicomponent magnetosphere plasma are considered. On the basis of the perturbation method, we have studied the domains of the parametric space, where the occurrence of nonlinear quasi-stationary ion-acoustic and electron-acoustic structures are possible. For these structures, the velocities of motion along the direction of the magnetic field are estimated, together with the longitudinal and transverse scales with respect to the direction of the Earth's magnetic field. The results of numerical modeling of dust plasma dynamics in the geomagnetic tail are presented for the southward and northward orientations of the interplanetary magnetic field in the model with reconnection of magnetic field lines of geomagnetic and interplanetary magnetic fields. The measurements of infrared emission from an artificial structure, which was generated during the Fluxus experiment with plasma jet injection into the atmosphere, are obtained and discussed for the first time. An estimation of the value and orientation of the inclination of middle-scale structures in the solar wind plasma is obtained on the basis of time lags of simultaneous correlated measurements on three spacecraft: INTERBALL-1, IMP-8, and WIND. It is shown that middle-scale plasma structures, in the majority of cases, are not perpendicular to the Sun–Earth line, but inclined to it (presumably, in the ecliptic plane), on average, at an angle of approximately 63° (or 27° to the Y
SE axis). However, this inclination is significantly less than the inclination of the Parker spiral for the interplanetary magnetic field (45° at the Earth's orbit). 相似文献

The comparative analysis of the results of space and ground-based experiments IMET RAS on the growth of InSb:Te crystals by the Bridgman method and floating zone method (FZM) is made for the purpose of studying the influence of microgravity on the growth, structure, and properties of grown crystals, and thus the gravity sensitivity of InSb melt is demonstrated. It is shown that, under microgravity conditions, the Bridgman method makes it possible to grow InSb:Te crystals without contact with the ampoule walls, which provides for the single crystal structure, the absence of striations, and a low dislocation density. For the first time, InSb:Te monocrystals were grown with the FZM under microgravity. The anomalous behavior of the impurity core (facet effect) in these crystals correlates with the changed magnitude and direction of the quasi-stationary (residual) microaccelerations. 相似文献

针对复杂航天器结构在宽频、瞬态火工冲击载荷激励下其响应难以预示的问题,以某型复杂卫星结构为研究对象开展了火工冲击环境预示方法研究。首先,推导了基于加速度频响函数(FRF)的虚拟模态综合法(VMSS)的理论公式。对于复杂卫星结构各子系统动力学特性存在较大差异的特点,建立了有限元-统计能量分析(FE-SEA)混合模型,并进行响应计算,获得了加速度频响包络曲线及模态数曲线,为虚拟模态综合法的响应预示提供输入。然后,对复杂卫星结构推进舱底板和侧板的火工冲击响应进行了计算分析。最后,将计算结果与整星火工分离冲击试验结果对比发现两者基本保持一致。研究结果表明,联合FE-SEA混合建模技术和虚拟模态综合法能够对复杂卫星结构火工冲击环境进行较为精确地预示。 相似文献

The results of studying vibration microaccelerations aboard the International Space Station are presented. The study was performed using the measurement data of the MAMS low-frequency and the SAMS high-frequency accelerometers. For the study, six intervals of measurements were selected, performed in 2005. During these intervals the station was flying in the standard orbital orientation, attitude control engines were not switched on, and the crew rested. Discrete and continuous spectra were analyzed on selected intervals. The most significant disturbances with the discrete spectrum (cyclic trends) have been found. Using the second order autoregression model, parameters of the most significant disturbances with the continuous spectrum were determined. Nose structures are objects formed by H+ particles penetrating into the inner magnetosphere [1, 2]. We present the results of experimental studies and numerical modeling of the nose structures. Statistical processing of the observations of nose structures in 1997 by the ION instrument onboard the Interball-2 satellite at heights of 10000–15000 km demonstrates that the probability of formation of the nose structures under quiet magnetic conditions (with current values K
p = 0–1) in the nighttime sector of the magnetosphere is 90%. The probability of observation of the nose structures in the daytime sector equals 50% at the current value K
p = 0–1, and the correlation between the observations of nose structures and K
p can be improved (up to 75%) if the K
p index is taken 6 h before the observed events. It is shown that nose structures are a characteristic feature not only of the substorm processes but also of quasi-stationary phenomena in the quiet magnetosphere. The nose structures observed in magnetically quiet periods are called stationary nose structures in this work. By modeling drift trajectories for protons, it is shown that the stationary nose structures are formed in all sectors of the MLT. The stationary nose structures observed by the ION instrument are modeled in the night, morning, and daytime sectors of the MLT. The relation between the stationary nose structures and ion spectral gaps is considered. 相似文献

The bursts of long-wave radio emission in the 100–1500 kHz frequency band detected onboard the INTERBALL-1 satellite during strong chromosphere solar flares in 2000 are analyzed.
