Junior Engineering Technical Society - JETS - was launched in 1950 after several years of research and preparation, it was designed to provide for the engineering profession what the 4-H clubs provided for agriculture. Initially known as BETS - Better Engineering Talent for Schools - it did not take long to evolve into JETS, the name that has been used to serve the pre-college engineering community for over fifty years. JETS has, however, respected its heritage through its motto: better talent for engineering. JETS is the only academic program at the high school level (Grades 9-12) that focuses completely on developing "real-life" engineering teamwork and necessary engineering problem-solving skills. 为了得到更加优良的榫齿连接结构形式,降低榫齿连接结构应力集中水平,提高其疲劳强度,研究了双圆弧过渡对榫齿连接结构应力的影响,推导了通用双圆弧过渡的尺寸关系式,为过渡圆弧的改进与优化提供了理论上的支持.通过对二齿涡轮枞树形榫齿连接结构过渡圆弧的改进,并进行了应力评估,证明了双圆弧过渡结构确实能降低结构的应力集中水平.基于Isight软件平台,利用二次序列非线性优化(NLQPL)方法对榫齿连接结构进行了多变量优化,得到了更加优良的结构形式,最大等效应力下降了19.98%. 相似文献

分析了引起复合材料舱体软木粘贴质量问题的原因。按GD414和717胶的技术条件要求,对HYJ-51、J-48胶与GD414、717胶进行对比,选用HYJ-51胶并进行工艺适用性改进,如延长胶粘剂适用期等。探索了口框局部缺陷修补方法、基材表面处理、加压方式。通过软木粘贴工艺的改进,提高了口盖与口框的装配质量、软木粘贴质量、软木外表面涂层附着质量。 相似文献

提出一种补气式等离子体射流(ASPSJ)发生器,在常规火花放电式等离子体射流(PSJ)发生器腔体上连接单向阀,改善发生器吸气复原阶段的补气量和射流的连续性,以获得能量更高的合成射流。研究了在不同加载电参数下,不同类型单向阀对发生器最大射流速度的优化作用;通过正交实验法确定了补气式等离子体射流发生器的最佳工作电参数,以获得最高的合成射流速度。文中的等离子体射流发生器配以所选择的补气单向阀,最优加载电压频率为150 Hz,幅值为50 kV,占空比为15%。实验结果表明,补气式等离子体射流发生器将最大射流速度提升20%以上,高射流速度的工作频带由单点扩展到100 Hz,以期在应用于流动控制时获得更好的效果。研究成果为后续的主动流动控制的应用研究提供了指导。 相似文献

对北京金融大厦风荷载进行了计算机数值模拟,给出院 风洞中模型表面风荷载随风向角变化的一般规律并和文献[1]的实验结果进行了比较。给出了实验模型周围的流动图画和气流参数的分布规律,另外,分析了构成该建筑的四栋相邻近的建筑之间发生火灾后的流动特性,提出了比其它建筑结构更易于扩大火灾发展的原因和补救措施。 相似文献

研制了安装9.5~23 C B N 刀片的滚切车刀。刀片用弹性卡头装卡,刀杆具有可调前角和刃倾角,并具有滑动轴承和滚动轴承 2 种刀轴。切削实验表明,加工质量主要受表面波纹度影响,采用适当的切削速度、进给量、刀具几何参数,减小刀片直径和刀轴轴承间隙均可降低波纹度。 相似文献

Numerical investigation is conducted on a 3.5-stage axial compressor,on which numerous experimental projects were carried out at the Institute during the last years and an experimental database was established.In the current study five on-and off-design operating points are simulated using a RANS solver and the results are compared with the measurement.The result shows that the compressor performance can be qualitatively predicted by the mixing-plane method.Better agreement is obtained for the on-design operating point.However,as the flow unsteadiness is insufficiently considered,the numerical method produces end-wall low-speed flow layers accumulated with the flow passing through the passage,which is in no good agreement with the experimental data.In the numerical simulation the rotor rows receive less work and this difference from the measurement increases with the rotational speed.In contrast,the stator rows increase the pressure more efficiently than the measurement.In the simulation the flow in the last stator row tends more to separate on the pressure side of the blade.For the operating points close to the surge line,the predicted separation is more intense than the experimental observation.But for the operating points close to the choke,the separation is suppressed. 相似文献
