In this paper, we consider an amplify-and-forward (AF) cooperative communication system when the channel state information (CSI) used in relay selection differs from that during data transmission, i.e., the CSI used in relay selection is outdated. The selected relay may not be actually the best for data transmission and the outage performance of the cooperative system will deteriorate. To improve its performance, we propose a relay selection strategy based on maximum a posteriori (MAP) estimation, where relay is selected based on predicted signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). To reduce the computation complexity, we approximate the a posteriori probability density of SNR and obtain a closed-form predicted SNR, and a relay selection strategy based on the approximate MAP estimation (RS-AMAP) is proposed. The simulation results show that this approximation leads to trivial performance loss from the perspective of outage probability. Compared with relay selection strategies given in the literature, the outage probability is reduced largely through RS-AMAP for medium-to-large transmitting powers and medium-to-high channel correlation coefficients.  相似文献

协作通信能够抵抗无线信道衰落,是提高无线通信系统性能的有效手段。但是,其性能优势的发挥受信道时变的影响。文章研究了连续时变信道下协作通信系统的性能,为了准确反映信道连续时变情况,采用内插滤波高斯噪声法构建连续时变信道模型,选取误包率作为性能指标。仿真结果表明,连续时变信道下,随数据传输逐渐加重程度的过时信道状态信息将导致协作通信误包率性能大幅恶化。  相似文献

Efficiency improvements using predictive and adaptive methods over satellite channels with weather-induced impairments are presented. Scintillation and rain attenuation are the two dominant factors for signal fading over satellite-Earth paths at operating frequencies over 10 GHz. We develop statistical and spectral analyses of these processes, and obtain simple linear predictors for received signal attenuation using autoregressive (AR) models. For adaptation, we propose changing signal transmission power, modulation symbol size, and/or code rate as the state of the channel changes. In particular, we introduce a continuous power control and discrete rate control strategy. Quantitative analyses of power consumption and channel capacity indicate that there can be a substantial gain in performance with such adaptive schemes.  相似文献

 无人机(UAV)作为中继传输平台受到了国内外研究人员的广泛关注。本文研究了非对称衰落信道下的无人机中继传输系统,提出了输出信噪比最大化准则下的波束形成(BF)优化方案,并推导出系统中断概率、遍历容量和平均误符号率等无线通信系统主要性能指标的理论表达式。通过计算机仿真验证了本文提出的中继传输方案及性能分析的正确性,并定量分析了天线数量、信道参数以及功率分配对系统性能的影响,为无人机中继传输系统的设计及性能评估提供了参考和依据。  相似文献

Decision fusion rules in multi-hop wireless sensor networks   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The decision fusion problem for a wireless sensor network (WSN) operating in a fading environment is considered. In particular, we develop channel-aware decision fusion rules for resource-constrained WSNs where binary decisions from local sensors may need to be relayed through multi-hop transmission in order to reach a fusion center. Each relay node employs a binary relay scheme whereby the relay output is inferred from the channel impaired observation received from its source node. This estimated binary decision is subsequently transmitted to the next node until it reaches the fusion center. Under a flat fading channel model, we derive the optimum fusion rules at the fusion center for two cases. In the first case, we assume that the fusion center has knowledge of the fading channel gains at all hops. In the second case, we assume a Rayleigh fading model, and derive fusion rules utilizing only the fading channel statistics. We show that likelihood ratio (LR) based optimum decision fusion statistics for both cases reduce to respective simple linear test statistics in the low channel signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) regime. These suboptimum detectors are easy to implement and require little a priori information. Performance evaluation, including a study of the robustness of the fusion statistics with respect to unknown system parameters, is conducted through simulations.  相似文献

理想的混合协同传输系统中,所有的中继节点都参与译码,将带来计算复杂度的提高、节点资源消耗的增加以及信息传输时延的增大。针对多节点的协同无线传输网络,提出了一种基于服务质量(Quality of Service, QoS)的自适应混合协同传输方法,并进行了性能分析,给出了系统误码率(Symbol Error Rate, SER)及中断概率的闭合表达式。该方法根据目的节点的QoS需求以及中继节点的信噪比(SNR)门限,动态地调整中继节点的传输模式,能够减小系统能耗,延长节点使用寿命。数值及仿真结果表明,基于中继节点信噪比门限的混合协同传输能够以较低的实现复杂度获得与理想的混合协同传输相近的性能,理论的性能分析结果与实际仿真结果相一致。  相似文献

针对无人机编队支撑网络优化选择中继成员进而提高编队协同通信能力问题,基于端到端技术(Device-to-Device,D2D),提出了一种同时考虑无人机编队成员的邻近域及编队成员间的社会性依存关系来优化选择中继成员的中继策略,旨在既能保证无人机编队的基本通信能力,又能同时优化提高编队的吞吐量,从而进一步提升编队支撑网络的整体性能。研究结果表明,所提的无人机编队支撑网络中继成员优化选择策略在系统吞吐量方面较已有方法具有明显优势。  相似文献

无人机中继通信是实现远距离无线通信的一种重要技术手段,无人机的飞行航迹对无人机中继通信系统的链路传输可靠性存在显著的影响,在频率选择性衰落信道环境下研究了基于直序列码分多址(DS-CDMA)的无人机中继通信系统的航迹优化的问题。首先,给出了基于DS-CDMA的译码转发无人机中继通信系统的模型,并理论分析给出无人机中继通信系统的链路中断概率及平均误码率计算公式,以此为基础,基于链路中断概率最小化准则提出了中继无人机的航迹规划方法,最后通过仿真验证了所提出方法的正确性与有效性。研究表明:最大比值合并DS-CDMA无人机中继通信系统可充分获取频率选择性衰落信道提供的分集增益,显著改善链路传输的可靠性。  相似文献

A New Exposed-terminal-free MAC Protocol for Multi-hop Wireless Networks   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
This article presents a new multichannel medium access control (MAC) protocol to solve the exposed-terminal (ET) problem for efficient channel sharing in multi-hop wireless networks. It uses request-to-send and clear-to-send (RTS/CTS) dialogue on a common channel and flexibly opts for conflict-free traffic channels to carry out the data packet transmission on the basis of a new channel selection scheme. The acknowledgment (ACK) packet for the data packet transmission is sent back to the sender over another common channel thus completely eliminating the exposed-terminal effects. Any adjacent communication pair can take full advantage of multiple traffic channels without collision and the spatial reuse of the same channel is extended to other communication pairs which are even within 2 hops from them. In addition, the hidden-terminal effect is also considerably reduced because most of possible packet collisions on a single channel are avoided due to traffic load balance on multichannels. Finally, a performance comparison is made between the proposed protocol and other typical MAC protocols. Simulation results evidence its obvious superiority to the MAC protocols associated with other channel selection schemes and traditional ACK transmission scheme as well as cooperative asynchronous multichannel MAC (CAM-MAC) protocol in terms of four performance indices: total channel utilization, average channel utilization, average packet delay, and packet dropping rate.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel transmission protocol based on polar coding is proposed for the half-duplex degraded relay channel. In the proposed protocol, referred to as the partial message relaying, the relay only needs to forward a part of the decoded source message that the destination needs according to the exquisite nested structure of polar codes. Theoretically, it is proved that the scheme can achieve the capacity of the half-duplex relay channel under the decode-and-forward (DF) cooperation strategy while enjoying low encoding/decoding complexity. Practically, in order to minimize the global transmission power, the optimization of the power allocation is performed between the source and the relay by using information theoretic tools. Furthermore, a joint iterative soft parallel interference cancellation receiver structure is developed to suit to the proposed scheme. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the conventional scheme designed by low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes.  相似文献

In this article, we exploit the idea of network-coded cooperative protocol in aeronautical communications which combines different source nodes'information at the relay and joint decoding at the destination. Recently, the network coding in cooperative communications has been categorized into two mainstreams, bit-level and signal-level combinations, which are both discussed in the article. And to be exclusively, multiple access relay channel(MARC) is adopted. The mutual information expressions of both above-cited network-coded protocols are deduced, which prove that without proper selected relays to perform network coding, the spatial diversity of the proposed protocol cannot be obtained. This then leads to search for the selection and grouping algorithms. An adjacency matrix is defined to describe the connectivity of the nodes in one radio contact disk, so that, the selection and grouping of algorithm is equivalent to constructing this adjacency matrix to minimize the system outage probability evaluated in term of the mutual information. Besides, a network-coded cooperative protocol requires the acyclic network, of which the construction is to avoid loop-4 in the matrix. The article ends with simulations to demonstrate the viability of the proposed algorithms.  相似文献

The performance of differentially encoded quadrature phase-shift keying (DQPSK) system employing nonredundant error correction (NEC) receivers with single- and double-error correction capability is analyzed and evaluated for the aeronautical satellite channel. The NEC is an attractive coding technique which employs differential detectors with more than one symbol delay elements and which does not introduce any redundancy as other coding schemes do. As typical for aeronautical satellite communications, a Rician fading channel with Gaussian power spectrum has been considered. Unlike the additive, uncorrelated from symbol to symbol interference such as additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) or static cochannel interference (CCI) which has been investigated in the past, analysis of the performance in a fading channel is much more difficult. The difficulty arises from the multiplicative and correlative nature of the fading interference. Bit error rate (BER) performance evaluation results have been obtained by means of computer simulation for various channel conditions, including different values of the K-factor and the fading BDT. These results have indicated that considerable performance gains as compared with conventional differentially detected systems are achieved for high values of K and for very fast fading. Both of these conditions are encountered in typical aeronautical communication systems. Wherever possible, heuristic explanations of the trend of the obtained BER performance evaluation results are also given  相似文献

This paper investigates a time-varying anti-disturbance formation problem for a group of quadrotor aircrafts with time-varying uncertainties and a directed interaction topology. A novel Finite-Time Convergent Extended State Observer (FTCESO) based fully-distributed formation control scheme is proposed to enhance the disturbance rejection and the formation tracking performances for networked quadrotors. By adopting the hierarchical control strategy, the multi-quadrotor system is separated into two subsystems: the outer-loop cooperative subsystem and the inner-loop attitude subsystem. In the outer-loop subsystem, with the estimation of disturbing forces and uncertain dynamics from FTCESOs, an adaptive consensus theory based cooperative controller is exploited to ensure the multiple quadrotors form and maintain a time-varying pattern relying only on the positions of the neighboring aircrafts. In the inner-loop subsystem, the desired attitude generated by the cooperative control law is stably tracked under a FTCESO-based attitude controller in a finite time. Based on a detailed algorithm to specify the cooperative control protocol, the feasibility condition to achieve the time-varying anti-disturbance formation tracking is derived and the rigorous analysis of the whole closed-loop multi-quadrotor system is given. Some numerical examples are conducted to intuitively demonstrate the effectiveness and the improvements of the proposed control framework.  相似文献

In this paper, an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)-assisted relay communication system is studied, where a UAV is served as a flying relay to maintain a communication link between a mobile source node and a remote destination node. Specifically, an average outage probability minimization problem is formulated firstly, with the constraints on the transmission power of the source node, the maximum energy consumption budget, the transmission power, the speed and acceleration of the flying UAV relay. Next, the closed-form of outage probability is derived, under the hybrid line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight probability channel model. To deal with the formulated nonconvex optimization, a long-term proactive optimization mechanism is developed. In particular, firstly, an approximation for line-of-sight probability and a reformulation of the primal problem are given, respectively. Then, the reformulated problem is transformed into two subproblems: one is the transmission power optimization with given UAV’s trajectory and the other is the trajectory optimization with given transmission power allocation. Next, two subproblems are tackled via tailoring primal–dual subgradient method and successive convex approximation, respectively. Furthermore, a proactive optimization algorithm is proposed to jointly optimize the transmission power allocation and the three-dimensional trajectory. Finally, simulation results demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm under various parameter configurations.  相似文献
