论文化教学在英语习语学习中的作用

摘    要:由于习语文化内涵丰富,如何学好英语习语对我国很多英语学习者而言是个难题。调研我国英语学习者误解或误用英语习语的情况并总结其主要原因后发现,加强文化教学对解决英语习语学习难题很有帮助。针对调研中总结出的原因,探讨在英语习语学习中如何充分发挥文化教学的作用,这对解决我国英语学习者的英语习语学习问题和提高他们的跨文化交际能力有重要意义。

Abstract:English idioms are often heavily loaded with cultural implications ,so English idiom learning is a difficulty to many English learners in China .By investigating Chinese learners'misunderstanding and misu-sing of English idioms and summarizing their major reasons ,an important finding has been got-strengthe-ning cultural teaching in English classes can be very helpful to solve the problem of English idiom learning . Based on the major reasons summarized in the investigation ,probing into the w ays to make good use of cultural teaching in English idiom learning is very significant to deal with Chinese learners'difficulty in learning English idioms and improve their intercultural communicative competence .
