Abstract:To take full advantage of the information obtained by the ship-to-air missile in the midcourse and reduce the midcourse trajectory curvature, a method to determine the predictive impact point of missile and target was proposed. The proportional navigation guidance law was designed on the basis of the impact point. In the initial launch coordinate frame, the target flies to the impact point was supposed to be constantly along the current heading at current speed from current position, and the missile flies to the impact point was supposed to be constantly at current speed according to certain guidance law. On this assumption, the length of the overall path on which the missile flies to the impact point was solved by the guidance trajectory on the one hand, and the current position of the missile and impact point on was counted approximately by the distance between the other hands. Such that, the time-to-go when the missile (or the target) flies to the impact point was obtained, then the position information of the impact point was known. Simulation results showed the validity of the proposed method.
