A Flight Testing Validation System for the K8V Variable Stability Aircraft

The configuration and function of the flight testing validation system for the K8V variable stability aircraft are introduced in this paper.The validation system includes the integrated validation subsystem for the flight control software,the test data gathering and processing subsystem for the onboard ground test and the flight testing data processing and analysis subsystem.Their composition,principle of operation,various characteristics and function in different stage of the flight testing are described separately.Based on flight tests for the K8V variable stability aircraft,it has been shown that the system can be satisfied with the software maintenance for the K8V variable stability aircraft,the system acceptance test flight and the application research in the next phase,and its advantages are with real time,high speed,accuracy and automatic control, so that it is an important support tool for the application research of the K8V variable stability aircraft.
