| Abstract: | Thermohydrogen treatment (THT) is a new technology which has already been applied extensively in processing of titanium alloys. In the paper, the principles and the basic technological aspects of THT of titanium alloys are presented. Research in influence of THT on microstructure, mechanical properties and workability of castings, as well as in wastes and chips, titanium aluminides, titanium based composites are also reviewed. |
