通过对超售产生和发展过程中不断的效率改进的分析，说明超售实际上具有不断优化配置资源的作用，不断逼近理论参照体系中的帕累托最优，从而使航空公司和旅客双方受益。同时，探讨了我国航空公司应如何开展超售，以提高航空公司资源使用的效率。

Pareto Optimality and Overbooking in Air Passenger Transportation

The paper analyst overbooking-produce efficiency increase in its phases of birth and growth. The findings show that overbooking does contribute to optimization of equipment allocation in nature, and come closer to Pareto optimality in theoretical reference system thus benefiting both airlines and pas- sengers. Also this paper discusses how to conduct overbooking in China's airlines and enhance their utilization efficiency of resources.
