| Abstract: | The computer local area network and fiber optic technique have been successfully applied to the Boeing-777 airplane. This paper gives an introduction to the fiber optic communications network used on Boeing-777 and the components and characteristics of the OLAN, analyses the functions of relevant interfaces and provides a new field of vision about a new type of avionics system. |
