| Abstract: | A method of applying advanced NC equipment to machine fly_cuter whic h can be used for forming worm gear is introduced. The advantages of the method, the calculation of fly_cutter tooth profile and the operating program of NC hob bing machine for forming worm gear are presented. It can be regarded as the refe rence for improving the old process with high and new technology equipment. |
