产业革命与工业革命的区别和联系

Industrial Revolution具有以下三层意思：一是特指18世纪中叶始于英国的那场工业革命；二是泛指产业革命（广义）和工业革命（狭义）两种含义；三是与城市化发展相联系，着重强调产业革命。产业革命与工业革命的根本区别是：（1）它们各自的内涵、外延不同。产业革命既包括工业革命、商业革命、农业革命，还包括第三产业革命，等等。（2）它们各自所要解决的根本问题不同。工业革命要解决的根本问题是生产方式的“工业化”问题，而产业革命所要解决的根本问题是整个社会生产体系的组织结构和经济结构的飞跃变化。（3）二者对城市化发展的推动作用不同。工业革命通过完成城市工业化奠定了城市化发展的基础，而产业革命则是在此基础上，通过大力发展第三产业，优化产业结构，推动城市化向纵深发展，并确保最终实现高度发达的城市化。

The present writer point out that the Industrial Revolution includes threefold meaning as follows：1、This refer in particular to come into beginning from the Britain in the middle of the 18th century;2、It＇s used in a general sense about a broad sense for the industrial revolution and a narrow sense; 3、 It gets in touch with development of the urbanization, but overemphasizing a broad sense for the indusatrial revolution. There are the fundamental disitinction between the broad and the narrow Industrial Revolution. 1、Each has different intention and extenaion. The broad industrial revolution cantaines the narrow industrial revolution,the commercial revolution ,the agricultural revolution as well as the revolution of the tertiary industry, etc. 2、Each fundamental problem that need be solved. The marrow industrcal revolution need solve the problem of the industrialization as the mode of production. The broad industrial revolution has to solve the problem of change-leap about the organic structure of the npoduction system and about the economic structure. 3、Each effect to propel the development of the urbanization foeward. The narrow industrial revolution is a base for the development of the urbanization by completiog city-industrialization. The broad industrial revolution need ensure to fulfilling about a high- degree of the developed urbanization by optimizing the industrial structure and by devoting major efforts of developing the teriarial industry.
