| Abstract: | The definition, structure and characteristics of grid are outlined. In view of the development trend of manufacturing industry, the grid technology is analyzed and the patterns of grid applied in manufacturing as well as its desired results are put forward. At last, it is pointed out that manufacturing grid is the development direction of advanced manufacturing technology. |
