Abstract:Large Multipath delay and doppler frequency shift of aeronautical communication cause serious inter-symbol interference(ISI).It's even worse in the high speed system, which forces the traditional frequency-domain channel estimation algorithms to increase operation length and complexity achieve expected performance. However, the need of real-time communication makes it difficult to meet the requirements. Taking into consideration the conditions of the large delay and little fading, this paper proposes a time-domain channel estimation algorithm based on PN code, which sends N segments of m-sequence as training sequences and receives with a m-sequence. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that under the low Snr, MSE has a 6- 8 dB gain than the frequency-domain channel estimation algorithm, and it's easy to implement in the FPGA with low complexity.
