摘    要:作为支持物联网发展的基础网络层之一,无线网络已无处不在.然而,用户经常会遇到由于不当的设计带来的网络性能问题.这些问题可以归结到无线网络的固有特性以及电磁波的物理性质.然而,适当的无线网络设计可以减轻这些影响.本文将对这些设计考量进行介绍,还将对无线网络安全方面的问题加以讨论

Abstract:Wireless Networks have become widely accepted in enterprise networks. However, users often experience performance problems due to poor designs. These problems can be attributed to the physical nature of wireless networks, the electromagnetic wave. As a wave propagates through the air it is susceptible to interference, reflection or refraction, to name a few, which changes the wave and ultimately the received signal. However the effect of these can be mitigated with the proper design of a wireless network. In this paper these design consideration will be introduced through discussion of visualization packages that aid in the design process. Furthermore we will take a look at the security considerations of wireless networks; as, surprisingly even with the ratification of 802.11 i for almost two years now; security is still considered one of the biggest challenges against implementing a wireless local area network.
