| Abstract: | Test facilities, test goals and atmospheric rain conditions for an aeroengine sea level water ingestion simulation test are introduced in this paper. Test requirements for military and civil engines are proposed. Diameters of raindrops used in the test are analyzed. Water consumption is also computed. |
