| Abstract: | Based on a deep analysis of the state of listening comprehension section of Practical English Test for Colleges which was held in Hunan in June, 2005, the paper, combined with practice, discusses main problems reflected in teaching and learning and concludes with some suggestions on how to improve listening comprehension in teaching and learning. |
