Abstract:Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT) is a new language teaching approach that emphasizes learning by doing.It absorbs many merits of the previous teaching approaches and indi-cates the new trend of college English teaching reform in China.Task is an important notion in TBLT.Consequently,designing tasks becomes especially vital in which humanism,cultures and teacher's role should be considered.
