| Abstract: | Appropriateness in writing is an important criterion for evaluating writing quality. Taking into consideration of the three levels of diction, syntax and text in writing process, the applica- tion of stylistic analysis and its theories in writing are introduced in higher grade writing course that aims to cultivate students＇ stylistic awareness and helps to improve English writing teaching. |
