| Abstract: | Deals with the design problem of reduced order state observer for a class of affine nonlinear systems. A design method of nonlinear reduced order state observer is presented for feedback linearizable nonlinear systems, and the asymptotic convergence is proved for the proposed state observer. By selecting the gain of the observer, the observer can guarantee the estimated states converge exponentially to the true states of the system with arbitrary rate of convergence. Finally, simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of this approach. |
