On Global Asymptotic Stability of Second Order Nonlinear Equations

Study the following second order nonlinear equations under the given conditions which are different from those presented in Refs. 1-5]where fi(x) and gi(x) are continuous,fi(0)= 0, i=1, 2, giving a sufficient condition for the global asymptotic stability of the trivial solution, and also broaden the related results to following more generalized equationswhere fi(x),hi(x),gi(y) are continuous, f.(0)=gi(0)=0,i=1, 2.
