| Abstract: | Flexible manufacturing system acted as an advanced manufacturing technology has been widely used in manufacturing industry. Its main aim is to enhance manufacturing flexibility. Flexible manufacturing system is a typical mode of application of flexible manufacturing technology. In this paper key technology for enhancing FMS flexibility in developing a practical automation system FMS 500 is presented. |
