| Abstract: | The orthotropic photoelastic strain-optic law is discussed. It is pointed out from the discussion that in the opinion of physical mechanism strain-optic law is a basic and general law and the form birefringent is an important factor that affects the precision of the orthotropic photoelastic experiment. |
