基于元模型的工程数据仓库系统元数据集成

摘    要:传统的数据仓库元数据集成方案投资巨大但是效率不高,而且主要是针对商业数据仓库系统,并不适用于工程数据仓库系统。本文利用元模型技术进行工程数据仓库系统的元数据集成,根据工程数据组织分散、模式复杂多变的特点扩充了公共仓库元模型(Comm on w arehouse m etam ode l,CWM),使之不仅适用于商业数据仓库系统,也适用于工程数据仓库系统。然后,以扩充后的元模型为基础实现了自行开发的工程数据仓库系统的元数据集成,有效地提高了元数据集成的效率,达到了预期的目标。

Abstract:Traditional metadata integration solution in the data warehouse field needs lots of investment and has a low efficiency.And it is mainly devised for the business data warehouse system,but not for the engineering purpose.This paper applies the metamodel technology to the metadata integration in the engineering data warehouse system.According to the characteristics of separately organized engineering data and the complex and variable schemas,a common warehouse metamodel(CWM) is extended so that it can be applied to the business data warehouse system and the engineering data warehouse system.Then based on the extended metamodel,the metadata integration in the engineering data warehouse context is implemented by the improved efficiency of integration and low cost.Results are satisfactory.
