移动自组网IPv6地址的分配

移动自组网是一种自治的、无需网络基础设施支持的、多跳传输的无线网络,具有非常广泛的应用前景。自组网即可以构成独立子网也可以与Internet互联,所以移动主机必须具有自动分配唯一的全球有效IPv6地址的能力。关于IP地址的自动分配已经有了一些算法,但大多数是采用在全网内进行泛洪广播来检测地址的重复,这将带来很大的开销。文中我们提出了一种IPv6地址分配协议,利用从GPS获取的节点地理位置信息和时间信息作为IPv6地址中接口标识符(InterfaceID)的唯一性参数,来提高选定的IPv6地址的唯一性,从而省去不必要的StrongDAD开销。重复地址可以通过监测邻居节点的数据包来检测到,并在必要时发送一跳的AERR消息来进行地址的重新分配,从而将地址分配的控制开销大大降低,并且将地址分配延迟将到最低。该协议被命名为OneHopWeakDAD地址自动分配协议。

IPv6 Address Assignment in MANETs

Mobile ad hoc networks are autonomous and infrastructureless networks that support multi-hops wireless communications among mobile hosts and have a wide application prospect in future. Such networks may operate in a stand-alone fashion, or may be connected to the Internet, so the mobile hosts should be auto-configured with a unique global IP address. Some schemes have been proposed to assign IP addresses automatically, but most of them use flooding the entire network to detect the duplicate addresses, so they will bring much overhead. In this paper, we propose an IPv6 addressing protocol which uses mobile host's geographic location information and time information gained from GPS receiver as the unique metrics to construct unique Interface ID of IPv6 address. This addressing protocol will not issue any strong duplicate address detection (DAD) operation and only generate One Hop-AERR broadcast packet when necessary after detecting the existence of duplicate addresses through inspecting the neighbors' packets. The proposed addressing protocol, named as One Hop Weak DAD, reduces the overhead of address autoconfiguration and makes the address allocating latency low to zero.
