| Abstract: | Focusing on the thrust calculation of the continuous wave laser-powered thruster with an open absorption chamber,an analytical model is obtained by using one-dimension flow theory under some reasonable simplifications. The calculation results are consistent with the experimental data well. And the thrust curves with different chamber radii,throat radii and absorption efficiencies are given and discussed. The results indicate that the nonlinear improvement of thrust can be induced by higher absorption effici... |
