Abstract:It is a trend that inter-satellites links are used to achieve autonomous navigation of satellite constellation.To design crosslink topology,inter-satellite antenna visibility of walker24/3/2 satellite constellation is investigated and several conditions of visibility are analyzed.The relationship between inter-satellite range and time is deduced with three orbits upright each other.Theoretical analysis and satellite tool kit(STK) simulation are given when the antenna scan bound is a cone pointing to earth with ±60°angle.The results show that if two satellites can be seen in each adjacent orbit for every satellite in the whole orbit period,permanent inter-satellite links can be established.Finally,a static network topology and a dynamic network topology of navigation satellite network are put forward.
