Abstract:The successful implementation of China first rendezvous and docking mission indicates that China has basically mastered rendezvous and docking technology of spacecraft and combination control and management technology.It indicates that the second phase of Human Spaceflight Project of China has obtained great achievements,which establishes the substantial foundation for space laboratory and space station.The rendezvous and docking technology of China and that of foreign countries are compared,and the technology achievements are summarized in this paper.It points that this mission has significance,such as increasing country's prestige,bringing wide social benefit,advancing fundamental science,advancing spaceflight technology and making base for successive human spaceflight missions.Based on these discussions,the prospect for China manned spacecraft development is presented.
