In this paper,it elaborates obvious advantages as compared with applications of laser intersatellite links between relay satellites and in satellite constellation of middle and low earth orbit for global satellite communication networks. In addition,it is given that the basic composes of a small optical user terminal which applying to a small satellite. It points out the main researching aspects on the research of laser intersatellite links for satellite constellation of middle and low earth orbit.
