Prediction and Prolongation of Solid Rocket Motor Service Life

The methods to predict the life of solid rocket motor such as the long range service life analysis are presented. For the economical and environmental reasons, it is considered that when a solid rocket motor completed its term of service life, some measures such as recovering and reusing the ingredients of propellant grain would be taken. To prolong the service life of the motor which is partly ceased to be in effect after evaluation, it can be repaired, the faulted parts can be replaced and the faulted grain can be cast again, etc.
