Russian Military Space Capabilities, 1992～ 2001

In the past ten years, the launch rate of Russian military space satellites were reduced sharply, even there were there special gaps when there were not photoreconnaissance satellites operated. There is a common perception that over that past ten years, Russian military space capabilities have virtually disappeared, is this the case? The paper analyzes the launches of Russian satellites from 1992 to June 2001, and sums up Russian military space programmes in perspective.
