| Abstract: | The paper discusses two difficult problems in development of large ram air parachutes: dynamics of deploying and reefing technique. For the first problem, the paper introduces two approaches for dynamic's analysis of large ram air paracutes: flight mechanics simulations and finite element simulations. For the second one, a new reefing technique is introduced. |
