Abstract:Thermo-Electric Cooling(TEC) technology,based on Peltier effect,is one of the refrigeration methods.In view of the advantages of TEC,such as simple structure,no refrigerant,no moving parts,it is particularly suitable for micro-refrigeration or other special occasions.TEC technology,which is applied in thermal design of focal plane assembly on space-borne camera,solved the problem that how to keep sensor's temperature constant.The simulation results showed that thermal design based on TEC technology could keep sensor's temperature constant,and meanwhile,its power used for controlling temperature reduced by 90% compared with traditional thermal design.
