MW 级太空发电站微波能量波束指向控制精度分析

摘    要:MW 级太空发电站是太空发电站事业发展规划的重要步骤,其微波能量传输系统的波束指向控制精度影响着波束收集效率。本文面向百米级能量发射天线,提出合理的微波能量波束指向控制精度要求。针对能量波束的渐变特性,以微波能量收发口径、传输距离和工作频率为约束,以系统对波束收集效率下降的容限为考察目标,建立了微波能量传输系统的波束指向控制精度分析模型,并提出了分析方法。应用提出的方法进行了数值仿真分析,根据仿真结果指出MW 级太空发电站微波能量传输系统的波束指向控制精度应为0.0023°,此时因微波能量波束指向偏离导致的波束收集效率下降不超过1%。这一指标可作为MW 级太空发电站微波能量传输系统重要设计参考。

Abstract:Mega-watt-level SPS serves as a milestone of development of SPS cause. The microwave power beam steering accuracy affects beam collection efficiency of its microwave power transmission system. Reasonable beam steering accuracy is aimed at for power transmission antenna with hundreds of meters aperture. With respect of gradual varying performance of the power beam, analysis model of MPT beam steering accuracy is setup and the analysis method proposed, regarding the power transmitting and collecting apertures, transmission distance and operating frequency as the boundaries. Digital simulations are conducted applying the proposed method. According to the results, the MPT beam steering accuracy is appointed to be 0.0023 for MW-level SPS, while the beam collection efficiency loss is less than 1% because of microwave power beam steering error. This parameter should be adopted as a key design reference in MPT system for MW-level SPS.
