STUDY ON COMPUTER-AIDED RELIABILITY DESIGN AND ANALYSIS SYSTEM

In this paper, a computer aided reliability design and analysis system platform (CARDASP) is introduced, which takes the reliability design and analysis working process as its baseline, and uses database as its kernel. This system comprehensively supports reliability engineering tasks such as establishment of reliability requirements, reliability design and analysis and the related consultation. The topics are discussed in detail as follows: 1) the system's function and frame structure of the software; 2) software supported reliability design and analysis functional process; 3) critical techniques including integrated application of reliability prediction, FMEA with the traditional specialty software; 4) distinguishing features of the software. CARDASP runs in LAN of Microsoft WindowsNT/95,98 by Client/Server model.
