Abstract:The contol principle of ground tracks of Earth Resonance Technology Satellite is introduced in this paper: the satellite is set in the higher height than normal value and through some period, the height of satellite is adjusted in certain value. Further computation method of residual error limit is derived and thus the computation method of residual error limit required by the control of ground tracks in different adjustment period is also got. The residual error limit is useful for determination of orbit adjustment periods. The some computation examples of the choice of orbit adjustment periods are also presented in this paper.
