CCSDS在遥感图像压缩中的应用研究

摘    要:针对空间光学遥感数据特点,设计适合于星载光学遥感器数据压缩的算法目前仍然是一个研究热点。CCSDS压缩是适合于空间光学遥感数据压缩的最新标准。该标准由空间数据系统咨询委员会于2005年推出,从空间数据特点出发,可以有效解决数据压缩的问题。另外,利用该压缩标准可以更好的跟CCSDS的其他标准兼容。文章针对该压缩标准进行研究,对算法的实现过程进行了分析,并将该算法的实验结果跟其它的压缩算法做了比较,结果表明,该算法压缩效果与JPEG2000相当,但算法复杂度较低,易于硬件实现,符合星载压缩的实时处理要求。

Abstract:With the development of remote sensing,it is a hot topic to design high performance on-board data compression algorithms.The CCSDS compression standard is a new standard adopted by-The Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems in 2005.The main motivation behind CCSDS is to provide an efficient way to solve the problem of remote sensing data compression.Moreover,it can provide better compatibility with other CCSDS standards in space data transmission by using the CCSDS compression standard.This paper introduces the new CCSDS image compression standard and performance,and analyzes the feasibility of hardware implementation.Further more,the results of the algorithm are compared with other algorithms.The results show that the CCSDS algorithm achieves the same performance as JPEG2000,but it has a low computational complexity and is suitable to on-board compression for real time processing.
