Abstract:Platform capabilities have been the bottleneck of space application activities along with the appearance of increasing diversity of new requirements.Eight capabilities of future space platforms which are needed to be obviously improved are summarized and put forward by researching the recent abroad hot items,e.g.Orbital Express,Deep Impact,and Micro-satellite Technology Experiment(MiTEx),etc.The eight capabilities are orbital maneuver,target identification,tracking and measurement,space information processing and transmission,spacecraft intelligent autonomy,on-orbit operation,multi-payload and multi-mission adaptability,cooperation and combination,and threat warning and protection.For each capability,key technologies and research status abroad are put forward and analyzed.With a view to future application requirements,the above-mentioned work emphasizes the capabilities improvement of present platforms and can guide the technical development of space platforms.
