Since the 21th century, the high-tech weapons such as new pattern of cruise missile, stealthy aircraft,early warning plane with better performances and TBM appear, therefore long-distance accurate strike will be the main trend of development of weapon system, and how to detect them as earlily as possible is going to be a big problem of the defender. Airship as a mobile platform in proximity space appears, which is a rising subject across the century and can support lots of new space weapons. The airship＇s functions, combat objects, main content of research and some key technologyies which need to surmount are introduced briefly.
