Narrative Artistry in A Rose for Emily

The thesis,under the guidance of narrative theories,focusing on point of view and narrative time,gives a detailed textual analysis of A Rose for Emily.After the analysis,the paper discovers that the story has smashed the linear narrative mode,and with the writing style of flashback,by combining multi-points of view with complex narrative chronology,using the first point of view,the third person omniscient point of view and the third person limited point of view,and aims at analyzing the special use of narrative ways, which highlights the extraordinary narrative charm of the book and the relation with the story.
