| Abstract: | In order to develop the centrifuges for training astronauts or for measuring the accuracy of accelerometers,must,firstly,determine the aerodynamic resistance moment and heating for a cylindrical body rotating about its transverse axis.This paper deals with the investigations of this kind experiments,and describes a method to reduce significantly the aerodynamic resistance,even 80% of the primary value,by attaching a suitable enclosure to the cylinder. |
